Struggling for goals in the run-in last season. Scored just 1 goal other than opposition's own goals this season. Other top 4 sides and Liverpool still looking to upgrade their squads and plug holes in the team (while all we do is laugh at the amounts others spend). But our £8m a year genius thought it wise to sit on his hands all summer. The very audacity to even do that with ZERO fear of any consequences illustrates everything wrong with this stale club. So ludicrous when you think of it. He has basically given himself a great excuse for failure in the eyes of his fanboys: "they spent more than us. How dare we hope to challenge for more than top 4 or another hopeless CL campaign".

We can laugh all we want with money spending all that money on Martial. But fact is at least they tried. And no one is going to care how much was spent on him if he turns out succesful.
With Wenger at the helm we've all become mini accountants.
Fergie always strengthened from a position of strength, he'd win the league then go out and buy the best players from other clubs in the league then win it again.
To not sign one outfield player in the summer is negligence. You have decent enough striker options but another good striker and you've got much better options.

Liverpool sold their best player and their hero of the last 15 seasons left and you believe that Liverpool have improved!!.
At least Arsenal aren't selling their best players year in year out unlike Liverpool
They've got legimate concerns, you've needed a striker and a DM for several windows and nothing has been done about it. You have money now and Wenger has no stadium excuses left (which were fair enough when it was being built).
Arsenal the only club in the top leagues in Europe to not sign an outfield player! Like I said that just negligence no other way to put it. You could easily have signed Lacazette for example, Benteke would have gone to Arsenal over Liverpool.
I'd normally just sit back and laugh at Arsenal fans going mad but this summer has been a total waste, and it's not like you've been banging in goals so far.
He's under the sword of Damocles at the moment, it's very close to dropping on him too and he's no one to blame but himself, a net spend of 8 million for a club with Arsenal's turnover! Not good enough, yeah you can laugh at us, or united for throwing money around but I'm sure most Gooners would rather take a punt on a player and see how it works out then not take the punt at all.
