Every single time the west is attacked these threads end up with the same line:
"The west is to blame, IS are the victims of western terrorism."
You freaks disgust me and I'm fed up of you victim blaming.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
T!t head embarrassing himself again
Tti it's not hard to see how the west has destabilised many of the middle eastern countries, allowing terrorism to prosper.
Blaming our leaders and those who have influence over them is different to saying it's our collective fault as citizens.
Victim blaming would be say... blaming refugees or muslims.

Op......what difference does a closed border make to terrorism? ? Did you not see the terrorism in the 70s and 80s in the uk, caused by the I..R..@ when we had more control of our own borders.
Russia and china have closed borders I think, im sure they still have terrorist attacks.

I watched an American politician on the news a while back after the shooting in the church over there, he was hilarious inadvertently of course. They were asking him if he thinks gun laws should be changed there to avoid this kind of thing and his reply was that if the people in the church were allowed to carry guns this wouldn't have happened, there should be more guns and everybody should have one.
In regards to this article, it's ridiculous. There is already very tough immigration on people from outside of the EU. In fact I have experienced it personally when it took nearly a year and over £2000 to have my wife join me here. When she was no longer a student it was extremely difficult to persuade them to let her back in. We are talking about a twenty-one year old girl who had just left university and who was married to a British national, who met all the requirements, so imagine how difficult it is for others, it's nearly impossible.
Farage and his ilk is the type who play on things like what happened in France and those with no education on the matter and a complete ignorance lap it all up.
Religion basically = country/culture in the ME for both Israel and their neighbours
And in Israel's case it's basically religion, race, country and culture all rolled up in one ball.
50+ years ago Britain and most of Europe was the same. Immigration and general apathy among Christians about being bothered to be religious anymore eroded all that and now it's not clearly the case that Britain and western nations are really religious countries any more.
I don't understand how people can say having a controlled boarder won't stop terrorist from entering. At the moment the European boarders are open like a hookers legs. Isis themselves have stated they have 100s of members posing as refugees. Stop the refugees from entering with such ease and u limit the damage they can cause. If your a genuine refugee u don't burn your passport or remove your finger prints.

But there aren't thousands of 'terrorists' coming in. Most of them are already here and are more likely to have been born here. That's their MO, if a terrorist is a British national then there's less chance of appearing on the security services radar.

We already Have controlled borders. Letting refugees in is nothing to do with normal border laws. It's an exception and something each country in the EU has signed up to. It's an EU law and something that has to be adhered to according to the human rights law signed in 1998. Leave the EU is the only real way out of it.
