If Osborne does drop Corporation Tax (lower than any other leading economy in the world) at the same time as hiking Income Tax (up way above Corporation Tax), people should go ape.
But they won't, because the newspapers will tell them it has to happen. And people are fecking stupid.
When Corporation Tax goes unpaid (est. £60bn per annum), nothing happens.
When rich people evade Inheritance Tax, Capital Gains Tax and Income Tax (est. £15bn per annum), nothing happens.
When poor people commit Benefit and Tax Credit fraud (a relatively measly £1.6bn per annum) they are chased, jailed, and demonised and vilified in the press.

FarageL
"My aim in politics was to get Britain out of the European Union," he said.
"That is what we voted for in that referendum two weeks ago, and that is why I now feel that I've done my bit, that I couldn't possibly achieve more.
"And so I feel it's right that I should now stand aside as leader of UKIP.
"I won't be changing my mind again - I can promise you."
It's such a shame the corrupt, authoritarian and overreaching EU forced this to happen

He will run as a Tory candidate in my opinion.
Nah, he's done with politics, he says he's not a career politician
Maybe he can sort out the banks then.

He will come back if we still have free movement of people. He will probably try to become an MP again too
Nah, he has achieved all he wanted, gets paid more than pm as an mep anyway so he's good for money
He loves the cameras though
What has he achieved?
All he has achieved is to help 52% of the voters think leaving the EU is better for them.
That's all.
What haa he achieved?

Was talking about the future of UKIP with Rosso the other day.
My thoughts were they may look left now the EU objective has been achieved, and go for the working class Labour vote, running as a working person's party.
The first thing that would need to happen is Farage to go, and the ability to then change the course of the party with new leadership.
Steven Wolfe is bookies favourite to succeed him. Mixed race - one black parent, one with Irish and Jewish parentage. Moss Side lad.
Alarm bells should be ringing for Labour here
You might post a smiley, but you can tell me if he has achieved anything more than that...
What a lot of people, and this is the majority of people, don't understand - is that Farage is a distraction. he's like Homer Simpson being s mascot for the Springfield baseball teams.
He says outrageous things, draws attention to himself, and creates some controversy.
Why? The answer is it takes the focus away from what really is the issue. It all boils down to one thing, and that is people not having enough resource to get along with.
It's already been mentioned how big companies don't pay their fair share of tax.
We have the rich getting richer, with increased influence.
Rupert Murdoch bemoaning the fact that he doesn't have the same influence as he had in Downing Street via Brussels.
100 families in the UK having 20% of all the wealth of the country while others are using food banks.
People like Farage going to private schools costing tens of thousands a year while others don't have enough for a school meal.
But that's all okay though, because someone wearing a linen suit and Union Jack shoes is pointing his finger at immigrants, as he walks off into the sunset. Leaving you with the warm but temporary feeling of sovereignty which will last until you get your next gas bill.
these dopey OUT voters admitting that they have facked this right up yet, or still stubbornly sticking to their irrational guns?
Chronic they don't seem to get that these leave guys never meant for the referendum to be go the way of leave.
This is why Farage was saying a close vote in favour of remain wouldn't be the end, and also why he conceded before any results were in, and then had to back track.
If people are still deluded in thinking that they wanted to win and had a plan and this was a real cause we have some gullible folk on here and a lot out there.
To say farage hasn't done anything is silly, he built ukip up, he even managed to get the welsh to vote ukip into the welsh government which is pretty funny in itself.
