The most frustrating thing about this electionis the Left have effectively been ruled out of the presidential race for the next 8 years. Hillary will win, I don't believe Trump will gain enough people to do it, the numbers don't add up. (barring a Brexit style polls calamity).

So, you'll either get centre ground Hillary for 8 years or 4 then a GOP establishment candidate. The left of the Dem party have talked about holding their nose this time then Primary-ing her next time round if she reverts to type, but that won't happen.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
The polls and bookies odds are following a freakishly similar trend to brexit imo. There are so many parrallels. The polls can't be trusted anymore, they have been so wrong in recent times it's possible they get manipulated to influence public opinion. how can they be so wrong otherwise, polls used to be pretty reliable. I think the prospect of a Trump victory is starting to become a reality and the media are going into overdrive to scare people off voting for him. Same thing happened with brexit and didn't work.

Aside from supporting any candidate it's interesting what's happening in politics atm. The thing with trump is a lot of people may not want to admit publicly they will vote for him but in an anonymous ballot they will do. trump supporters are more likely to go out and vote tham clinton's imo, they are more angry and passionate. And more women/ethnic minorities will vote trump than people expect. I genuinely think he's gonna win.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Hopefully logic will prevail.

Although I agree there are comparisons to Brexit; in that a disenfranchised electorate voted for something they thought may bring about change.

When in reality, they, and in particular the poor and underprivileged will be even worse.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
There is also the tendency for people who will vote Trump not to admit it to anyone even pollsters, because he is that bad. What I would say however through the primary season the polls were more or less in line with what happened barring a few states which Bernie unexpectedly did better than expected. The polls are the best indicator we have of what will happen. And there is a certain Brexity feel to them at the moment. You can't really account for people who won't declare they will vote for Trump. Will be interesting but the numbers just look out of reach for trump. If he does win it will be down to the Democratic party leadership that the world's biggest superpower is led by a completely nuuter

Sorry VC, I was being sarcastic.
I meant that we all know about his dubious history, his lack of financial acumen, and his complete stupidity, which is there for all to see and hear every time he opens his mouth.
It is beyond my comprehension that he could be president of the United States.

Hillary says what she'll do, all the usual stuff about how everyone is in it together, she will help the poor, women, minorities etc. Firstly with who she's funded by I don't believe she can do that or make the real change people want apart from a few token policies. secondly why hasn't it been done already, after 8 years of a democratic president the country is more divided than it was before. After 8 years of a black president the black lives matter movement is growing because of injustice. So beyond nice rhetoric not much actually happens.. I get that a lot of the stuff he wanted to do he couldn't put through but that's because of the establishment system and how senators and congressman are paid by lobbyists to support their interests. Trump has highlighted this corrupt and crooked system but Clinton is a part of it.

There's no contest.

America knows this, and will stick with the establishment and elect the lesser of two evils.

Trump to win comfortably then!
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Trump ten pts behind and republican leaders have dropped the Hairman.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Pay no attention to 'left wing' polls, they have been proven to be incorrect many times

This in itself shouldn't be a problem. Republican voters will still vote republican.

It is those that are not committed to either party in what is known as the swing states where his issue will be.

Doesn't really matter who wins, as none of the policies (if you want to call them that) either of these two clowns talk about will be implemented cos half of them are unconstitutional and the half win be blocked in the house/senate.

So the real choice for Americans is between voting for a guy who would succeed at nothing (most non-americans already hate America either with good reason or just jealousy so trump won't really be changing much in that regard) or an old hag who would aim to change nothing.

Either way the next 4 years will see little to know progress for the everyday american.

I guess not having an president embarrass themselves on twitter every other day is a plus for the old hag.

Wouldn't even be surprised if the next president gets impeached. Im sure there are more skeletons their closests...

Trumps a pantomime villain. Everything he says and does is exaggerated by leftists who seem desperate to be offended.

Hilary is a dangerous sociopathic imbecile.. far worse than trump.

If I was American I'd vote for her though because of the party she represents.

Side note this election campaign from both sides has been an absolute embarrassment. That debate the Other night is one of the most ridiculous things I've ever seen. It would be funny if it was a comedy film. It's not. Neither are fit for purpose.

You actually believe this as well. This is why you are regarded as the biggest moron on the United board.

Nothing he says needs to be exaggerated.

If you want a good laugh find out how Hilary is supposed to have intimidated the women Trump wheeled out. For example one of them believes that Hilary arranged for a cats skull to be put oh her door step, and stole the text of her book. It really is at that level of nuts.

It's not so much that they exaggerate everything he says, it's been a constant smear campaign by people who are prepared to endorse all the terrible and disgusting things that the Clinton family have been guilty of, such is their hatred for a reality TV clown that would end up being far less of a threat should he win the presidency than Hilary would, sometimes you reap what you sow

Also at least some of the things he comes out with are funny, I'm looking for entertainment value here as I'm not American and can't vote, they are both wrong-uns but Hilary doesn't seem to have any humour or personality
