Fury Joshua is the fight I want to see but it's partly Joshua's fault for getting schooled by others.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
If AJ beats Usyk and it's a big if, we will see one of the biggest fights in HW history.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
As in they are both very tall?

Honestly wouldn't expect much last couple of Fury fights you can see he's not too bothered, couple of steps below Wilder 2. Don't think Tyson is that bothered anymore - can't see him getting as motivated for anyone.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
It will be bigger than any HW fight in the last 30 years because of the stakes and the stock of each fighter. An undisputed fight between Fury and AJ would do more than 94K at Wembley and it would not only command the attention of global fight fans but the casuals would flock to it like flies to a turrd. Throw into the mix that AJ and Fury probably don't like each other and their promoters probably hate each other, it's a fight for the ages. Just thinking about the first face off between AJ and Fury gives me goose bumps.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
It would be epic and I think Fury would definitely be up for that if it happens. Sadly AJ would likely need to beat Usyk twice before that can happen. And does anyone think that's likely at this point ?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
AJ only needs to beat him once. There's no trilogy clause, it's just one rematch, like AJ had with Ruiz.

If AJ beats Usyk, It would be highly unlikely he fights him a third time, straight after.

There's no rematch clause but assuming it's an unconvincing AJ win for example then there would be a demand for a third fight.

It would have to be a robbery on level of Golovkin vs Canelo 1. If the fights close but AJ edges it, they will go straight for the undisputed.

This Fury vs Ngannou exhibition fight won't happen in 2022 by the way, as Ngannou is still recovering from knee surgery.

Hope you're right, we'd all love to see it. And it would probably be the biggest fight in history based on interest, revenue, ppv buys etc. Guarantee that Hearn would try to stage it in Saudi though and not Wembley lol.

Having said that if Usyk beats AJ again in similar fashion then I'd also love to see Usyk fight Fury for undisputed. Two master boxers going against each other will be fascinating, especially with the massive size difference as a big factor.

It wouldn't have the same draw as AJ vs Fury of course but that would be all on AJ for not being good enough to beat Usyk.

In terms of fights, both AJ and Usyk pose very interesting and different problems for Fury.

AJ has the size, strength, power and he's a solid boxer.
Usyk has the IQ, skills and movement.

I'd personally prefer the AJ vs Fury fight but I'd definitely watch both.

I don't think we've heard anything from Whyte. I'm sure he's hugely disappointed with how the fight went but I hope he doesn't go into hibernation, like Wilder did. Actually, I hope he doesn't make excuses like Wilder either

The funny thing is he didn't show up for any of the pre-fight stuff, and when it came to the fight he didn't show up for that either. Now he's not turning up for any of the post-fight stuff. Fury may as well have been fighting a ghost.

I would love to see Fury fight Usyk AND AJ, regardless of who wins the Usyk/AJ bout. I understand that might not interest all parties though, particularly Fury, although if Usyk beat Joshua then Fury beat Usyk, there would still be that clamour to fight Joshua and the interest and occasion might be enough to tempt Fury. Definitely less so if Usyk is the one Fury has left to fight.

I wonder what Fury would do if Usyk beat Joshua then beat Fury.

Fury will fight the winner of AJ/Usyk this year, in my opinion. Probably November/December.

If it's next year Fury will presumably want a tune up fight beforehand around that sort of time. No way he'll go into a unification bout having spent 7+ months out of the ring.

AJ vs Usyk looks like it will happen in July, which leaves enough time for one more fight in 2022. Unless of course they choose to have warm ups, which if you're AJ, you can't really do at this point.

Also, what's next for Whyte?

I'd like to see him go back to Mark Tibbs. His current coaching set up doesn't seem right to me and he's actually regressed.

Whyte vs Ruiz would be interesting.

----------------------------------------------------------------------
If he ever shows his face again maybe he could take on the winner of Parker vs Joyce, or as that winner would deserve a title shot, the loser of that fight instead. Parker has already said he wants it, and Joyce would be an interesting match up too.

I don't think Whyte does much more in the division if I'm honest. He might beat guys coming to the end of their careers but not many, if any of the top fighters.

He said it was an even fight, didn't feel outclassed and was planning to put pressure on as fight went on, made one mistake and got chinned.

I hope AJ beats Usyk and we see the biggest fight the country has ever seen, in AJ vs Fury for all the belts and glory.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
If AJ beats Usyk, surely it’s #3?

Of all the HW contenders, AJ is probably the easiest fight for Fury. Jabs his head off until AJ tires in 7/8. Fury has become pretty clinical in his finishing off opponents.

On this evidence Wilder flattens whyte and anyone who isn't fury. We joke about his boxing ability but he put fury down 4 times despite getting dominated almost every minute of the 3 fights. Andy was spot on about Whyte and I was guilty of overrtating him but he was in 50/50 fights with chisora and Parker who are nowhere near world level

Wilder deserves a shot at the likes of AJ and Usyk imo.

Sick and tired of great fights not being made, it’s tarnished boxing to the point it isn’t even real competition.

UFC has done it right, less belts, still make the big money fights but he generally speaking the right fights have to be made.

Wilder would be an exciting match up against any of the top fighters or contenders , no idea if he's planning to continue though

Wilder has ducked AJ in the past.

posted on 25/4/22

Wilder turned down AJ to fight fury again, that really can’t be considered ducking. Turned down more money to settle score of first Fury fight.

Hearn is definitely responsible for the Wilder AJ fight not initially happening, you remember the whole talk of 50m offer I think maybe just after AJ had fought Parker. Separately barry saying the fight need to marinade, that would’ve been one of the great heavyweight match ups. Think AJ not being at the level will see Fury AJ never get made sadly.

Wilder would have smashed AJ, I think we can all see that now. If master boxer Fury couldn't avoid Wilder's bombs then there's no way AJ would either with his stiff movement and lack of head movement. Would have been an easy night for Wilder.
