Gunn's loves his silly comedy. I don't have a problem with it either. They are comic books afterall

Just thinking if Batman Brave and the Bold is going to be silly comedy and if that Batman is going to be the DCU Batman which by all accounts he is then the DCU and all related movies including Superman Legacy are going to need to be silly comedy as well. 🤔.

Historically speaking that doesn't bode well. Batman and Robin was very silly with huge elements of (attempted) comedy and that killed the franchise for nearly a decade. Until the ultra serious Dark Knight trilogy came along to breath new life into the franchise. With huge success at the box office.

Ok this is why I was asking before. I don't anything about the Brave and the Bold comic. Want to know more. And yeah the series is very much like that.

They should have Lex Luther as the baddie and make it The Brave and the Bald.

I'd prefer him to focus on the live action stuff but I will admit, some of the DC animated movies have been lacklustre of late.

This is why I brought it up on Sunday as I'm not familiar with the Brave and the Bold comic book story. Nobody said a word though. The Brave and the Bold animated series is an abomination so I'm very relieved to hear that the series is completely different to the comic book.

That's the focus of the DCU movie, Bruce & Damian's relationship. The best Robin imo.

The animated show is basically an animaniacs type of Batman show. It has every character you can think of from all the Robins to members of Aquaman's universe.
