Just thinking if Batman Brave and the Bold is going to be silly comedy and if that Batman is going to be the DCU Batman which by all accounts he is then the DCU and all related movies including Superman Legacy are going to need to be silly comedy as well. 🤔.

Historically speaking that doesn't bode well. Batman and Robin was very silly with huge elements of (attempted) comedy and that killed the franchise for nearly a decade. Until the ultra serious Dark Knight trilogy came along to breath new life into the franchise. With huge success at the box office.

This is why I brought it up on Sunday as I'm not familiar with the Brave and the Bold comic book story. Nobody said a word though. The Brave and the Bold animated series is an abomination so I'm very relieved to hear that the series is completely different to the comic book.

Not at all, I happened to come across the Brave and the Bold series on my IPTV and gave it a watch for a few minutes, quickly realised it was diabolical and brought my concerns to you fine collection of people in the hope that someone might clear it up for me. Nobody did until today. Better late than never I guess.

Quite honestly I've had zero interest. Love The Boys but I don't think it required any spinoffs. It works perfectly on it's own as the Justice League with a dash of Marvel satire that it is.

It's decent but the lead character is meh. Cgi questionable at times and the wokeness is also a bit annoying. Decent other than that.

No more SW content this year.. so…

This is exactly how I'm picturing it to be. Just seems like one of those shows that offers little in the way of novelty and you get exactly what you thought you would going into it, maybe even less. There's a long list of shows I'll be watching first before I try this one tbh.
