From what are hearing? Where are you hearing all this from
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Reliable comic book geek channels on YouTube who's job it is to report and discuss this stuff. I posted some links a couple of days ago here. Scroll back
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Okay cool so no official channels.

I myself have a YouTube guy I listen to (Emergency Awesome) and he agrees some that you are saying and doesn't agree with some other parts.

I guess it’s a wait and see what does happen as right is surely I can’t get any worse than what it is.

I don't think there are any official channels as such and it's definitely wait and see but I've heard that Affleck officially returning as Batman will be announced later this summer at one of the big comic book events.

On the contrary superb, I am not against Pattison's Batman being left out of the DCEU, I simply don't want them bringing back Affleck after everything that has happened ad running two batman stories side by side.

You need to let this Snyder return dream go. He is coming back to do his justice league and that is it. He's not having a second chance or doing a redo of his original vision. I like Snyder by the way but I think it's time to move and leave the past in the past. Unless of course you'd like to bring back that monstrosity of a doomsday and lex luthor. Whilst we are at it, why not bring back Routh as an onscreen superman? Maybe throw in Tom welling in a man of steel sequel?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Yeah, Doomsday was an utter waste of a major villain. It was a joke. Look what Marvel did with Thanks?

They've wasted the Doomsday card and all they have left now is Darkseid.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
They wasted Doomsday/Orc from LOTR, Lex Luthor has 0 substance or menace, they wasted the death of superman story, they introduced the justice league via an email, Batman didn't kill Superman because both their mums are called Martha
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Yeah. Badly outdone by Marvel in the end.

could have said any name, point was he realised he had a mother also, didnt like how it was done though
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Batman was literally on the verge of killing him, I don't think the mother angle worked at all, even if they had different names.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I’m sorry, but even that was a joke. How can the guy with no natural superpowers defeat one of the most powerful superheroes in the DC universe?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Kryptonite. You watched the film right?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Still a joke the manner in which it happened. Superman had to be stupid and naive and its all just not credible.

Is it a competition between Marvel and DC then?

If so then I'm willing to bet that the next few years sees much more enjoyable content from DC. By contrast at Marvel you can look forward to Captain Marvel heading the Avengers with a female Thor. Can't wait

Marvel will have the X-Men ,f4 and blade to look forward to.

So what? We've seen X-Men done to death already and the two previous iterations of F4 were both crap.

Those were made by Fox. The next iteration should be far better under Feige's influence.

Seeing Galactus and Dr Doom done properly would do me nicely. Love a good villain.

What exactly are Disney and Feige going to do with X-Men that's so much better than what we've already seen? Personally I've seen more than enough X-Men now over countless movies.

And we've already had fantastic actors like Patrick Stewart, Ian McKellen and Michael Fassbender play Professor X and Magneto. And you're not going to get a better Wolverine in the MCU than Hugh Jackman's version.

Phase 4 is clearly a transition phase for the MCU but Phase 5 is where things will start to really get exciting.

Black Panther 2 (Which should introduce Namor and Dr Doom)

Fantastic 4 (Done right)

Blade (Ali will excel in the role in my opinion)

Guardians 3 (Introduce more cosmic elements)

----------------------------------------------------------------------
Nothing there gets me too excited and Guardians 2 was nothing special so they'll need to improve on that considerably for the third movie.

They definitely overpowered Batman but I expected it when the movie was titled Batman vs Superman.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
And yet in the JL films he looked like a deer in headlights, even at the end when he sacrificed himself because he wasn’t even powerful enough to kill those flying parademons on his own.

You say this but then aren’t you excited to see the next new ( about 50th ) batman?

A bit of a contradiction isn’t it.
