A lot depends on political goodwill on both sides.
As long as the planes can fly the next day, everyone who doesn’t want to stay in the UK and wants to be in a European country can leave 👍

That's not completely accurate.
We know (as set out in UK/EU positioning papers) each parties objectives. Unfortunately for those who want to leave, we know that each and every promise made by VL and LeaveEU cannot (not that they ever could) be delivered.

That nobody can say where we will be is a damning indictment of our political leaders who have made a James Hunt of this from the start
Folk will be adversely affected as I just don’t see a resolution where the majority are left unscathed

As ever when something as large as the EU is changed then there will be significant repercussions.
So the choice really was a leap into the unknown and break the cycle or stay in the club and be led into who knows what.
Sometimes it takes a rebellion to change the leadership and the status quo.
