That would be an amazing team, yeah. Fekir and Koulibaly aren't unrealistic signings either if we were to stump up the cash. Icardi would be hard to get though.

Erik is no mathematician, but I'm sure those ratios are pretty similar

I am actually a mathematician and Morata has most of his goals in his first two months. He also has played less games due to him getting dropped for Giroud towards the end of last season due to him not performing well enough.

Morata got 6 of those in the first 2 months which means he has netted 10 since. Lukaku got 7 of those in the first 2 months and 13 since.

And, as you have pointed out yourself, Morata has got less minutes.

Probably because for whatever fecked up reason, Lukaku is (well was until last week) Jose's new Ivanovic, ie undropable no matter how bad he gets.

I firmly believe that Lukaku is better than Aguero. Yes Aguero scores goals, but he plays for a better team. Aguero can't bully a CB like Lukaku then. Put someone tough like Prime Vidic or Prime Terry on Aguero and they'd literally wear Aguero like a hat. Lukaku can compete with those kinds of CBs.

All this thread has shown is that there's little between these two, even on stats. And in all likelihood neither has much of a long term future at their current clubs.

YES THERE IS A DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THEM IN STATS, HE WAS JUST PICKING THE ONE STAT THAT MAKES THEM SEEM COMPARABLE.

27 goals vs 15 goals. There's not little between the two at all. Take away Morata's first two months and it's worse.

And your picking one stat that makes them seem incomparable

Overall Morata has 16 PL goals in 34 starts, Lukaku has 20 PL goals in 41 starts. It doesn't get more comparable than that bro

Erik it seems like you do not really understand stats.

2011/12 season, Drogba scored 13 goals and Harry Kane scored 1, so therefore Drogba>>Harry Kane.

Why would you not use how many goals they each scored in one full season? This season has barely begun is one thing, and another thing is you're for some reason only fixating on PL goals instead of just goals in general, again because this comparison is better for Morata.

One full season, 27 goals vs 15 goals. That's it.
