That's not a bad thing though. More points are there to be won vs non top 6 teams in a season than vs top 6 teams obviously, and a top striker who can score regularly against them can win you the league even if he doesn't score much against the top 6 teams. Those games against the top 6 teams are normally tight anyway and decided by the odd goal, you don't even need a striker to be scoring tons in those games honestly.

For the extortionate amount we paid for Lukaku, I expect a lot more than putting a couple past Huddersfield. I want him to make the difference in big games against the Top 6 and in the knockout stages of the CL.

The lad is a decent striker but is very limited.

Lukrapku has been less crap than Morshata since their moves to Utd and Chelsea. But it's marginal, let's be honest. And it's a boring debate anyway.

He scored the first time he ever faced all the fellow big six teams bar City, has a respectable record vs all of them bar City and netted in both his cup finals.

Costa was miles better in big games than Lukaku, not even close!!!!

I think with Man Utd one issue they have is that they depend on Lukaku too much for goals. I know he's your main striker, but if the likes of Martial, Alexis and Rashford chipped in with more goals, especially in those kind of games, you'd probably be more satisfied.

They can score more than 1 in ny on a year and a half, even Morata has netted vs Arsenal, Spurs, United, Leti.
