Zelda from terrahawks terrified me as a kid.

She's in Eastenders these days:

Yeah, Get Out was good but not scary. But I'm not black, so maybe that's why

Carrie

Saw that at the pictures years ago as a kid.

The bit at the end where her arm shoots out the grave and grabs the girls arm!!!!

I left stains on that seat.

I was chuckling as I wrote that as I knew someone would pull it up.

I don't find much scary these days. There are films that make your hair stand on end I suppose.

The Autopsy of Jane Doe was probably the last film that did that.

I agree about Zelda by the way and her sidekick. Can't believe that was aimed at kids.

Yeah that had some good scares in it.

Watched Calibre on netflix the other month - not scary, but a really good, gritty watch!

Mamma mia.

I still have nightmares when I think of Pierce Brosnan singing...

The Xenomorph in Alien is one scary looking moffo. Hats off to Geiger for that.

One of the better scares I've experienced was at the end of Don't Look Now when I was younger. May look silly now though.

It’s bit. I watched it not long ago, still quite powerful and facked up.

Yeah the general mood and build up is quite chilling anyway, even if the ending has dated somewhat.

Russell Crowe's english accent in Robin Hood terrifies me

Anything by James Wan my favourite being The Conjuring 2 which made me literally jump out of my seat as did Insidious 1 and 2.

Also a bit of a cliche but I always found The Exorcist very unsettling. Not so much scary more the premise of these events actually happening.

Anything that involves possession/demons basically and similarily will always have a soft spot for the NoES series even the weird second film.

Both IT's are great too, I really need to get back into the book.

The Haunting (original)
The Changeling
Blair Witch Project
Paranormal Activity

As someone who suffers badly from sleep paralysis, the first half of Insidious really creeped me out... The 2nd half went too 80s for me.

No such thing as sleep paralysis, it’s actually demonic entities pinning you down.

There is one film I will never watch again... "A requiem for a dream". Not scary as such, but harrowing.

Black Lake on iplayer is quite interesting, some creepy moments.

Certainly feels that way... It's horrific... I don't get them as much any more (maybe once a month) but when I was a heavy drinker, it was 3-4 times a week.

There's nothing like it is there.

I wouldn't wish it on anyone.

It's supposed to be a precursor to an out of body experience.

I can just about move my mouth during sleep paralysis but not much - think the Tin Man whilst they're oiling his lips.

Require is depressing as. So bleak. Get to see Jennifer Connelly using a double ender at least.
