Fabio Paratici will continue to assist Tottenham Hotspur in the January transfer window, despite the arrivals of Scott Munn as chief football officer and sporting director Johanne Lange.

genuinely though, if that's the case, what was the point in hiring a permanent position in Lange?
How will their roles differ?
What can Paratici do that Lange can't, and vice versa?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
No idea but I'll assume Lange is more of a long term appointment where as Paratici's role looks like a rolling one. Can only assume both have extensive contacts around Europe so the more the merrier?

I don't know but you've reminded me of that bit in the fly on the wall documentary when the lady director of the club (I think she might have been financial director) asked Daniel why the club's bothered if fans can't come to the stadium during covid
He just looks stunned

yeah not really complaining as it's not my money, but I just find it a bit odd, especially if there's a chance of stepping on each others toes
TBF to him, Paratici has a solid hit rate...

football.london understands that while Tottenham were winning at Nottingham Forest on December 15, two of Spurs' new recruitment heads, technical director Johan Lange and his chief scout Rob Mackenzie, were both in Genoa watching Dragusin carefully as he played in his side's back three in the 1-1 draw with Juventus.
As well as the Romanian, the duo would have been looking at, among others, 20-year-old Islington-born winger Samuel Iling-Junior, who came off the bench in the second half, and has been of interest to Tottenham in previous transfer windows.
Spurs have had an interest in Dragusin for even longer and the link is their former managing director of football Fabio Paratici. The Italian was involved in the deal that took the then teenage defender to Juventus' academy from Bucharest in 2018 amid plenty of interest from clubs across Europe and the Premier League.

we may as well keep using paratici as a consultant for player recruitment seeing as he is pretty good at it
Feels like a here we go is imminent with the amount of traction the Dragusin deal is receiving.

Radu Dragusin has accepted all details of Tottenham contract proposal as personal terms have been agreed, as revealed last week.
Despite public statements on new deal, he’s now waiting for Spurs.
Spurs and Genoa remain in talks to get the deal done very soon ⏳⌛️

He wants to say it. He needs to say it. It's killing him.

#Tottenham U21 talent Jude Soonsup-Bell could leave the club on loan in January as he’s attracting interest from Championship and League One clubs.
@FabrizioRomano
Good news
Would love Sammy Davis... Er, Iling-Junior
