Would you say Bergkamp was one of Wenger's best ever purchases, gunnerth... I mean, YCBC?
Henry, Bergkamp, Vieira, Pires & Adams are true Arsenal legends, that status was achieved over the course of their careers with us. If you even think for one second that Freddie belomgs alongside them then there's no hope of educating you.
I was a teenager when we wom that double, the fact that it was 2-0 and not a winner or equaliser only makes that FA Cup final goal more insignificant.

Something forgotten about freddie is how good he was in the CL run of '06 too. Didn't get many goals/assists but he worked his ass off in the playmaker role.
Injuries definitely took their toll on him in his final few years, but he still gave his all. One of my favourite arsenal players ever, and 01-02 separates him from the likes of Fabregas and Ramsey as being a legend.

Liar. You trying to test anyone's knowledge is ironic.
Btw, I consider Pires a legend. A lot of those players in that era I will talk fondly of until the day I lose my mind, and are legends.
But I don't see how someone can put Pires firmly in the legends category and dismiss Ljungberg.
Crap game but there was some positives
1. Clean sheet
2. Defence looked better
3. Work rate better
4. A point stops the losing streak
Considering a lot of people on here were predicting 4-0 to Everton Im not to disappointed with a point.
Need to stick behind the team and hope we kick on with Arteta
4 - it was only a one game losing streak
Tbf it is a game little can be judged on. Both teams played like they were waiting for a new manager to come in...
We just have different clarifications of the word legend and great... Doesn't mean I didn't like or appreciate Freddie as a player, I very much did.
I see the buy not class guy have a go at me. I know that Bergkamp wasnt a Wenger buy you tool.

"Gtv2" it's like if itv2 gave creative responsibilities to a monkey.
But seriously, you need to relax. There's no point name calling fellow arsenal's just because they disagree.

Wow, Have you listened to Freddie's post match interview, he's sent out a big message to the senior players.
He wasn't happy with how the guys played against Man City, they didn't put in enough effort.

Honestly he gave a brilliant review of the game right after the City game as well.
Really hope Freddie stays at Arsenal.
Think Freddie is talking twaddle. The problem against City wasn't effort. It was tactics and positioning. No one for example was given the respectability of marking De Bruyne. Kolsaniac was marking space and not the player for the first goal and Freddie wasn't ready when he was injured. Its easy to to talk about intangibles like effort and leadership. Not so easy to admit that the team wasn't setup right.
