Yeah that’ll sort the problem on the right wing.

I'm glad you agree.

But the issue is the position we are looking to fill. We’ve not had a top right winger since Ronaldo left. When a player like this becomes available, even for a huge fee, you have to act really. It would solve a lot of our issues. Which is why it won’t happen.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Right winger? Ronaldo plays on the left 90% of the time.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

During the Rooney, Tevez, Ronnie days, Ronaldo played on the right and Rooney on the left. Sometimes the forwards interchanged...

posted on 13/2/20

Yeah I remember Ronaldo would often move to the left when he couldn’t get out of Ashley Cole’s pocket

You guys need another Nicky Butt.

Would be a stupid decision from Sancho IMO. In his position I'd rather stay in Dortmund than join United.

Not wumming here but if he joins United there is a good chance he will very rarely play Champions League football in his career, especially if Ole is staying. Moving to United could be the last big move of his career, even though he's young. United pay a lot of wages and its hard for players to be bought by other clubs so this needs to be the place where he wins trophies and experiences success and I can't see that at United for the foreseeable future.

Moving to United at 20 years of age would be his last big move?

That makes very little sense.

It’s a big stretch to say that United won’t get CL football much in the next 5-6 years, based on investment levels, the situation at clubs around us and recent history.

But even if we didn’t get there once, Sancho would be 25/26 when his contract runs out.

The idea that if he joins United now, the chance for him to move onto a big club if it doesn’t work out is totally illogical.

Are you serious about not wumming? Because if so that is some of the biggest load of tripe I've read on this forum recently.

----------------------------------------------------------------------
We’ve got a potential Nicky Butt in the making.

We need a Roy Keane. And a Ronaldo, as Darren pointed out. And a Rudy Van Nistelrooy. And a Michael Carrick. And a Nemanja Vidic.

Then we’ll be most of the way there.

Haha nah although I think Rice could well be a goer and I actually rate him. If you can't get Ndidi then he looks a good fit.

I've not seen loads of Longstaff, in fact probably more of his brother, so can't really comment on him.

King would be a pure banter signing.

Wilson should be a big fat no.

I do think Dembele would be a good fit though.

Lyon’s dembele would be a good shout imo.

You would go in there and try to sabotage us form the inside and still do a better job than Ed.

And he'd be right to! With your experience in cashing up the tills at McDonald's at the end of the day, you are exactly the kind of person the club has identified that they want to be making our footballing decisions.

Moving to United at 20 years of age would be his last big move?

That makes very little sense.
--------
It makes perfect sense. Moving big players from United is difficult. He is likely to be on astronomical wages which no one will want to touch and United will pay him more money with every new contract.

I can't see him signing for United and then another big club in the future unless his rating or status in world football changes or nearer the end of his career.

So yeah, his next move IMO shouldn't be a wait and see how it goes club like United.

It’s only difficult when no big club is in for him.

If a big club wanted him, wages wouldn’t be an issue.

That’s why your comment makes no sense.

Sorry, but that's a load of nonsense.

Except it’s not - it’s a logical response and one you clearly have no answer to.

Wages would not prevent a move to a big club because other big clubs can afford the same wages as United can.
