Don’t know what to hope for Monday night. Boro vs Forest.

Wigan have won at Leeds and West Brom. Pushed Boro in to relegation. In the unusual position of hoping Forest beat them.

It’s three points.
Good evening gentlemen xx

Safety First says Boro to lose - seeing we don't know our punishment. I hope there is justice and balance in the verdict and the penalty. I hope they aren't waiting until they can see what penalty will condemn us to Div 1. Can they do that? And will the folk who constitute the punishment committee be from dis-interested clubs with nothing to gain from their decision?

Good evening to you too Cat.

Stop worrying about the "penalty". If the club statement is correct the EFL have no case.

If they take against you, anything could happen. Look what they did to Bury.

Mel can afford better lawyers than Bury.

What do you make of the Leeds keeper being banned for 8 games for making a racist remark? Allegedly he used the N word.

Makes Ramage look like an angel if true.

Arrggh! Leeds and Boro fans on the guardian match report, build a flippin bridge and get over it, sour faced pusses the lot of them. Didn't jump on this thread but read through as didn't want to jinx a'la QPR. Hope the boy comes back happy and safe, oh! and in the spare room!!!

Two wrongs don’t make a right Scouse, but I’m sure you would agree that the Ramage faux pas wasn’t as bad as Cassilla’s. One loses his job and the other misses a few games, it’s a bit like the Keogh affair.

posted on 29/2/20

Ramage didn’t lose his job, he wasn’t a BBC employee. They just don’t want to use him anymore after what he said, and why should they?

Trouble is VC is that you keep coming out with this persistent referral to Ramage and the lets be straight, the racist and unacceptable reference he made. Why are you so hung up upon it?

Do you have reference and evidence to the Cassila case as a matter of interest?

posted on 29/2/20

It was in the Daily Telegraph and they did use the word allegedly.

I am referring to Ramage as I think it was a misspeak and not intentional. Please tell me which is worse, to call someone the N word or call someone black? Yes they are both wrong but the one who said the worst will be back in goal, while we listen to whoever Radio Derby can find.

I don’t think this is fair. Why not ban a Ramage for a few matches and then get over it? Not to mention Chris Coles who usually does a good job.

Sorry about the defeat Owl n the Kitty. What were your thoughts from a Sheff perspective. I thought we looked very good, felt your heads went down a bit after the first goal though.

VC. It wasn't that he called someone black, it was because he appeared to single out black lads to be "taken down a peg". There's nothing odious about saying someone is black, it's any implied discrimination which was the offence. It was not meant the way it came out (IMHO). He has always been a bit of a motor mouth and not always ub=nder total control.

posted on 1/3/20

Yes Ramdini, but he wasn’t singling out all black players, it was really Bogle who had annoyed him with the way he played and his assumed attitude. I think he didn’t mean to say what he said, like Bolder didn’t really want to say “like I said” about a hundred times yesterday.

Fletcher interviewing Cocu should be a template for insomnia. I say bring back Coles and Ramage with a yellow card warning.
