You like ST Robb?

I always felt along with faith no more they should have achieved so much more success?
----------------------------------------------------------------------

They were awesome - and they gave us Trujillo

Loved Faith no more, Pantera, Ugly Kid Joe, Alice in Chains, Sepultura - great metal bands of the early 90’s

For me the early 90s was about headbangers ball and Beavis and Butthead (learnt of so many bands through them)
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I saw faith no more in Dublin in 1989 and they were around an hour late due to them performing on top of the pops
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Would have been great to see them back then - Pattons work on Mr Bungle is so offbeat but genius all the same
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Saw sepultura on the beneath the remains tour as well
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Nice- I saw soulfly live - never sepultura
----------------------------------------------------------------------
There was a venue in my home town of dun laoghaire that was originally a roller disco called the top hat
I lived a 20 minute walk away. All the metal bands played there. Saw metallica there on the justice tour along with countless others
Great days. We used to walk to the venue as teenagers drinking cans of cider.
No alcohol was sold at those gigs but we knew the guy who sold the soft drinks from school and he used to mind our jackets as well as Irish up our Coca Cola if you get my drift

----------------------------------------------------------------------

I love Pearl Jams one from around then a smidge better - their live version of Black is something that puts a chill through your spine but yeah, the Nirvana one is amazing simply down to their offbeat song choices

Blackie lawless from WASP had a flame throwing codpiece that infamously backfired when they played there in the 80s

Coincidentally, I've just been playing old PlayStation 1 games and listening to The Best... Album in the World... Ever! Vol. 4. Right back to 1996

Some great songs like Goldfinger by Ash, You're Gorgeous by Babybird, Trash by Suede, Sale of the Century by Sleeper... There was so much good music around then, and it's amazing how much of it was by British artists.
