He deserved it if I'm a racist. It was murder if I am a snowflake. I have not seen the incident.

Sorry I know it's off topic but I've just seen this.

It's like a comedy sketch. It's so good.

I thought he resisted initially anyways, it was clear with the first coverage he was refusing to leave his vehicle.
If he was off his head that may explain why

That is because most world map projections incorrectly assume that the world is round, so if you want to show the actual size of countries like the USA on the correct shape of the earth (flat) then you have to adjust the size of each country accordingly. It's called science. You should try it sometime.

"Chauvin likely knew of the scientific research indicating that prone restraint is not excessively dangerous to the suspect’s cardiovascular health"

----------------------------------------------------------------------
Seconded.

“45 lbs is definitively insufficient to restrict breathing or blood-flow in the neck.“

That is also categorically untrue.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
right so a study by a university should be discredited because you say so, noted

you are thinking of direct pressure on a specific point, the purpose of a double knee restraint is to spread that pressure over a large surface area.

its akin to the pain of standing on a pin, where its focussed on a solitary point in a small area.

a single knee is a far more direct PSI pressure but a double spreads that pressure out over a much larger area.

But again, I would trust the academics on this rather than you tbh

I’ll take the advice of probably the world’s leading expert on asphyxial forensic pathology and author of the ubiquitous textbook, the Handbook of Forensic Pathology, Vincent Di Maio MD, thanks.

Or John Parkes, who has spent half his career researching restraint and positional asphyxia.

The question is if this was a white dude in the exact same situation, would the officers have acted differently? Would they have had more compassion when some said I can't breathe and would they have tried to help him rather than go to the most extreme option they had which was to pile on top of him, restrain him and pressure down on his neck? Most likely if GF was white they would have taken a very different approach first.

Completely false. Long Eared Owls are migratory for the most part so right now there would be few if any.

That's an issue yes but THE issue? I'm not sure. For me THE issue is cops shouldn't be killing defenseless people laying on the ground because they feel like it.

And none of this will be relevant in a court of law.

if being the the big question there. The autopsy revealed a potentially lethal concoction of drugs — not just a potentially lethal dose of fentanyl, but also methamphetamine.
That is more likely to explain his state at the time and also the foaming at the mouth.
