Post Covid, with as you say clubs like west ham interested who are well known to spunk money up the wall.

Take the money and reinvest it in the squad rather than get a small loan fee.

There's no doubt Celtic are run very well. The question is if there had been more spending ambition would Celtic have been run better or competed better/more regularly in Champions League group stage. Difficult to say but no doubt that the road that has been taken isn't worth complaining about too much.

Celtic expected to announce the deal later today. Then, I’m told, Ajeti is off house hunting!

He has always been Neil Lennon’s No1 target this window, for a striker. He tried to sign him last summer from Basel.

A happy ending for Celtic on what’s been quite the transfer saga.
