What was he supposed to say though? Give him time, he'll realise Maguire's true ability soon enough.

I was more referring to the constant articles about the transfer window. I mean the window had been open for like three days before they starfted crying.

Oh right. Yeh.
I mean, in a ideal world, you want all your signings in early, have a pre-season, and hit the ground running.
Well that’s the theory, and that’s the heavy narrative bandied around this summer.
It’s like people think the window closes on Aug 5th.

But it’s not lost on me the shenanigans of the media and the haters to make us look bad.
This is the season for the silly stories and a whole lot of made up nonsense. But some people taking the bait and falling for it.
Just need to stay cool. And looking at Ten Hag, he seems very cool about everything…players look happy.
So we don’t need to be stressing what others are doing…
