Mental health problems are bad and hope you get better but what absence are you talking about mate?
You've posted an article every few days for the past few months.
Sometimes multiple articles in a day.
Quit attention seeking.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I’m not attention seeking at all.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Ok, glad that's cleared up.

Get well soon

All the best Matth.

Snow and ice on the ridge in late Autumn/Winter make it a different proposition. Also few tourist at this time. Stick to the Miners/Pyg track to the summit of Snowdon... unless you are a Pro.

You can even slide back down on your Aris in no time.

Matth

Seriously, posting your article winding up them scousers and dealing with the abuse in return, isn't great therapy for you.

Then half an hour later posting this article....

I thought similar but didn't say anything as the usual suspects start the bullying claims etc

It's not bullying, it's helping.

Matth, maybe try some vitamin d supplements. It can help boost your mood, especially with the lack of sunshine in this country, and then the lockdown on top of that.

I'm not claiming you are . But there are those on here would level that accusation after reading your post

Keep battling Matth... I've suffered through various mental health issues for 25+ years now, it's focking awful, i'd rather have terminal cancer... But there will always be good times too, always remember that.

Look for patterns that 1) bring on the illness and 2) help alleviate it.

Stress is almost always the main trigger, and we are living in very stressful times, so try to find ways to relax... If it is watching tv/films, walking in nature, talking football... whatever, just do it is much as possible.

Vice versa, if there is anything that leads to stress, remove it as much as possible. As others have said, while most of the replies to your posts come from a friendly place, the replies probably do bring you stress.

Stay strong.

More people have died this year from suicide than COVID-19. If you need help then please speak to someone - it's rarely as bad as it seems once you get a fresh perspective and realise you aren't alone. Plenty of people will feel low during lockdown. It's natural to feel a bit down in the dumps from time to time.

In my experience, it's best to mast*rbate before making any meaningful life decisions.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

A quick Google search suggests that first claim is way out. We don't have suicide figures for 2020 but last year's are many magnitudes lower than Covid deaths. Do you have a source that demonstrates otherwise?

(I don't think anyone can take issue with your second statement though.)

Matth,

Sorry to hear that things are tough for you at the moment and I genuinely hope that an upturn in how you are feeling is close.

However, at times, you really don't help yourself with some of the things you write. The Liverpool thread today being a prime example where you haven't done yourself any favours at all.

I did that before proposing to my now wife. The restaurant staff were not happy.....

A very good friend of mine suffers from depression and it's horrible to see. For what it's worth his approach is to speak really openly to a small group of friends, cut out all alcohol and increase exercise. Seems to work for him.

Sports, physical activity and exercise is very effecitve in eliminating depression.Modern lives are far off from natures so at these times be as close as possible to nature.

I'd stay away from the internet until you're better, especially unmoderated places like Twitter.

Be strong mate, try to keep hydrated, get your required vitamins/nutrients, sleep and exercise in

Everyone has to deal with MH at some point. Some just deal with it better than others and some like to just make it more public
