Apologies. I should have added the Welsh fans.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
And the Scots fans VC. Although I wouldn't be against postponing them until fans can attend properly. I know that's what made Euro 2016 for the Wales fans. It'd be a bit crap watching it from home.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Could always postpone it another year. Imagine two international tournaments in the space of 6 months. That would be fun.

Shocking that VC didn't think about the #MeToo, #LGBTQ and #BLM movements. I'm disgusted.

Just merge all of them in to one mega tournament, the best nations from Africa, Europe, LATAM all competing for one trophy
We can call it the World Cup

I fed VC the Scottish line as I know he has a fondness for them!
My aunt is a nurse. She gave my cousin 2 tests which she was given at work. They both came back negative however when he continued to feel unwell he had a proper test done and was told he had it.
The world Cup would be in 2022 anyway, so just cancel the euro's this season. I'm sure we can all wait another year for Kane to score a few penalties against Montenegro and Slovenia

International tournaments would be a bigger risk. But you would think the vaccines will rescue them in time
----------------------------------------------------------------------
WHO announced yesterday that the vaccines available will not stop the pandemic and that restrictions should stay in place until we have developed herd immunity....
----------------------------------------------------------------------
To be clear, what they actually said was:
- The likely destiny of the virus is that it becomes endemic, like the four other human coronaviruses which are responsible for the common cold
- But that as with the flu vaccine, COVID-19 vaccines will limit symptomatic disease, and prevent severe disease and deaths
- We do not yet know whether the vaccines will also reduce the number of infections, or prevent people from passing on the virus (although by reducing symptomatic disease it is very likely that they will have at least something of an impact)
- As such, we need to assume, for now, that people who have been vaccinated will also need to continue to take precautions to help minimise social transmission and protect public health

One that you to a test Centre for, rather than a self administered one the NHS staff were given.
I’d be quite happy for the Euros to be cancelled if it meant us getting on top of Covid and giving he players a proper break

Are going off the proper statistics, or the ones the NHS give out?
Can't believe people aren't looking forward to the Euros. They're going to be amazing.
Sun will be out, the majority of the population should be vaccinated. Major international tournaments are the best.
I can't wait for them.

Well, not in my experience.
Breaking: Sheffield United have revealed the club has recorded "a number of positive coronavirus tests after the latest round of testing".
A club spokesman added: "Due to medical confidentiality the club will not be revealing the names of those who have been affected."
Could be a third PL club with a outbreak now.
Why the sensationalist headline?
There were 16 positive tests in November and the PL was stopped.

This whole pandemic is sensationalist
Even the office of national statistics covid deaths carry small print
Take the 489 yesterday .... fine print “deaths for any reason within 28 days of a positive test”
The internationals in the next few months should definitely be cancelled.
