Are there anymore record's he holds or have I got them?
Still no answers to the Steve Davis 1989 World championship win?

Wow that's crazy you played Alex Higgins at pool. He clearly hustled you then lol.
Snooker is a very tough game. I'd love to at least make a 50+ break.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Yeah I knew I was being hustled because he needed money for a beer but I couldn't pass up the chance to play him, even if he was a bit nasty.
Is it losing two finals in the last frame? Watched one of them the other night which actually went to the last black. Dennis Taylor, got lucky a few times, being super positive in the black when Davis was playing it safe but a great final frame.
No, 2 answers to that, 1, least amount of frames conceded in a final ( 3) John Parrott, & 2, least amount of frames conceded in winning the title, he only lost 23 frames the whole tournament.. Second on that list is Hendry in 1993 with 25 conceded.

Ah
If Higgins had been playing in the World Championship recently he could have got close. He was on fire in the last Open.
Definitely, Higgins never missed a ball all week, the Worlds though are a different challenge

John, not Alex 😂
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Yep. Nobody was stopping him, nobody. My step father who's an amateur player in the leagues here in Northern Ireland was arguing with my that Ronnie was going to win. I told him nobody was winning against Higgins. He wanted to bet me but of course I wasn't going to bet actual money against Ronnie.

That's true but I think Higgins has a great chance this year. He's playing some of the best snooker I've seen from him, even better than when he was number 1. Maybe not as consistent, well until recently but wow. Even his whole demeanour is pure confidence lately.
We'll see, I'd love a 7th for Ronnie

Well being from Northern Ireland I'll be hoping for Mark Allen or if Jordan Brown can spring another shock. Will be interesting to see what Mark Allen's step son does, in future. He's ripping it up for his age at the moment.
Brown has had his 15 mins of fame, Mark Allen is very talented, but so up & down, don't think he has the consistency for the worlds.. Who knows...

Allen reminds me of Ronnie at times, not in terms of his game but his mentality, own worst enemy at times.
Hopefully Judd will win it this year. I feel the sooner he gets that 2nd world title that could very well be the springboard for him to add many more.
He won the champion of champions by beating Ronnie, Robertson & Trump, has hardly won a game since... Great break builder
Wilson has the game, lots of candidates this year

Really hope Higgins gets a 5th title. Often goes unnoticed that he reached 3 finals in a row recently, only to come up short. He still seems to go under the radar despite that.
I hope he can keep playing somewhere close to where he played at the Players Championship.
Viva, he's played 8 finals, he's got a 50% win ratio
JIMMY’s done it again 4-3 from 3-2 down!!! Gonna win this tournament haha
Nearly blew it was 42 ahead with 35 left on table and Chinese dude got the 2 snookers lol
