Reminder that Rangers took a chance on Gerrard when he was U18s Liverpool manager.
Look how that panned out.
Gerrard's achievements cannot be pooh-poohed. He has proved himself to be a very good manager.

The Times reported earlier, no matter what happens to Liverpool they are keeping Klopp for next season.
Both of their contracts end at the same time, 2023 i believe that's when he will go to Liverpool if he keeps lording it in Scotland and doing well in Europe until then.

I don't think for a second that Liverpool will look to get rid of Klopp and get Gerrard in....but if Klopp himself were to choose to leave himself, I see no reason why Gerrard wouldn't be on the shortlist.
Gerrard, McAllister and Beale would al be welcomed by the Liverpool fans......they would likely be cheaper to bring in than top managers at other clubs, and there is nothing to say they couldn't deliver success at Liverpool, same as they have at Rangers.
That was why the Germany job coming available worried me....but if Klopp ain't interested, he's going nowhere, and neither is Gerrard, thankfully
