I still don’t see any valid opposition in Scotland which is very sad for our politics

***

It is also very dangerous and the reason why The SNP party and its members can continually break the law, get jailed and ride roughshod over the electorate and still get voted back in

Has any other party ever had so many of its elected members either jailed or found guilty of breaking the law?

The application is absolutely the main concern.

How do you interpret it.

There is way too much ambiguity.

There's another joke law in Scotland:

https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-scotland-scotland-politics-56364821

Are you SNP voters really happy with this p!ss?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I am all for protecting vulnerable groups such as disabled, ethnic minorities, women, Celtic fans and transgenders, but this is going too far.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
well gender is not actually part of this bill I understand, one labour MSP did not vote as she felt for it because she felt the bill should have protected women more.

I think leaving genders out is a good idea because all genders can be discriminated against. Though a section outlining that may have helped calm her fears.

Ultimately if you do not commit hate crimes this shouldn't really bother anyone.

The bill clearly protects the rights to express your beliefs strongly and openly.

I'm not really sure people understand what free speech actually is
----------------------------------------------------------------------

It is an utter abomination of a now 'Law'

What a state Scotland is in.

I thought it was sh!t down here but with 'Woke' and 'Cancelled', etc.

Not once did I think such sheidt would spread to Scotland.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
"all the woke and cancelled"

FFS do you not believe in free speech?

If a person can spout a view then a person group of people can have a campaign to say they shouldn't.

this is something that a certain type of media personality attracts and encourages to play victim.

It's always people with TV shows, book deals, columns in newspaper, radio shows telling you that they are unable to talk and are being deplatformed despite the aforementioned.

----------------------------------------------------------------------

Yes - like Piers Morgan (who is a cant)

No - the 'Cancel' culture got behind a rally to to get rid and so they won.

Don't you see what is going on?

Freedom of speech is being cancelled.

You must be seriously dull if you don't see what is going on.

I hope you get your independence (and this is from a Scotsman down South).

You know - most people down here want to hold a vote to get rid of you 'Freedom Fighters'.

Bunch of clowns who have watch 'Braveheart' too many times.

This freedom and braveheart bantz is so old. People have moved on from that decades ago

You’ve still not came up with a persuasive argument as to who is worth voting for in Scotland

They are certainly leading the way in terms of having elected members jailed

You're probably one of those supporters who was sat in his house wearing Castore head to toe cussing people like Zachsda who was up the George Square giving it laldy for 'killing ma granny'

You see - I would rather be like Zachsda everytime.

McGarry and Bill Walker both got jailed

Their offences took place while they were serving the government

Robbing food banks and battering women must rank as some of the lowest crimes you could commit

Sending lurid sexual texts to schoolboys is right up there as well though

Same question to you:

----------------------------------------------------------------------

You are correct in saying they are all the same, I have seen that quoted more and more since the Salmond V Sturgeon title fight

I would have any of the other parties in charge rather than a party full of crooks who have carte blanche to break any rule they want

But if they are the same then what would be the point of independence?

It’s f@cking wonderful

Quality of football is superb and quality of goals has been fantastic. Results have been incredible.

I hope we can see this game out next week cos I don’t want this season to end
