Amusing how the Government can commission this report, and splash it all over the front pages of the Tory Press, but they cannot commission a report into why nearly 130,000 of it`s citizens died from Covid.

Does no one else work on projects where you are basically given the answer the client wants beforehand? Just have to fudge your results to get to that answer. That's what happened here. I was commissioned to do a report on the economic benefits of such and such, and had to ignore substantial evidence to the contrary to present the case and show what the client wanted to be shown.

Based on what? your preconceptions.
How useful is this to the debate when many just discredit the report as they do not agree with it. Refusing to accept any of its many conclusions is as constructive to the process as refusing to accept many of the concerns of black people.
Personally i am offended by the view that the UK is a racist country and institutionally racist as this is not how I live my life and I align myself with like-minded people. There will be millions upon millions of other like minded people in this country who share this. Racism exists and is abhorrent, it takes many forms. But it is also not the sole cause holding back many black etc people in society

I didn't say I didn't agree with the findings. Just saying it's obvious what the conclusions would be given the client and who they commissioned. If it had been BLM commissioning some vegans then the conclusion would be that it is a racist country and there would be plenty of evidence available to demonstrate this. It would probably also be a good read if done by a vegan who gets enough protein.
Even if theyre right about the government, get in line ffs.
