Bloody hope not but I believe we should move more towards a better balanced diet in any event which of course means eating far more plant based foods.

The usual veg and fruit being the obvious choices.

Unfortunately most just want an instant taste hit and sod the longer term health consequences.

At some point in the (probably not too distant) future, people will look back on our current farming methods and food suply chains and be appalled. They will question how we ever thought it was ok.

You find viruses and bacteria everywhere, including in plants and vegs.

Read somewhere they found a dragon fruit with Corona.

Everyone who is obese should be banned from entering fast food outlets unless they show evidence that they are vegan. Obesity is the biggest crisis facing the NHS and not being vegan is putting myself and others at risk. Yes, you can still get fat from being a vegan, but you are much less likely to be. I don't see why people refuse to be vegan when it is for their own good and the good of everyone. Maybe extend the ban to cinemas etc where obese people sit and eat? Need to protect our NHS.

The other day I opened a brand new case of beer and was shocked to see it FULL of Corona.

I have complained to my local newspaper.

They're training it to track fruit now? That would only be possible to achieve in a lab.

I quite like the idea of cutting meat out of my diet. However, I do like meat though in curries, roasts etc. I suppose I'm a hypocrite in that I could no way kill a cow to eat but I'm happy buying the meat from said cow.

You make many veggie dishes?

Many of them are more expensive than what families on low incomes eat. Especially if you enjoy tasting your food. Not the stuff pumped with water and even chemicals to make them appear ripe quicker.

I feel exactly the same. If somebody told me there was no more meat tomorrow, I'd be fine with it. However I like meat but hate the thought of animals dying. I'm also a hypocrite.

Yes, yes I do. (every meal)

Meat is subsidised in the west, so yes, it seems cheap. But it the third world, where poverty is most rife.. Veg and grain are cheaper.

Yes - I was referring to the UK.

I understand it is cheaper to eat vegetables and fruit elsewhere where they also happen to taste a lot better and be more nutritional.

We probably have meat three times a week and veg dishes the other four days. There are a load of amazing dishes without the need for meat. However British don't really have the knowledge nowadays. The older I've got the more I've cut out meat, nothing to do with environment or health, it's just my conscience gets a little heavier with each passing year

Meat can already be made artificially. That will be a thing in the not too distant future. The transition to literally soulless meat. Not that we care that the meat had a soul. Or do we? Does it trigger a reward in our caveman brain? Eating another living thing that we hunted and caught by barging Linda out of the way at lidl and seeking out the steak with the longest used by date. Anyone can catch some leaves from a tree to eat. That's why they don't taste good. Animals made themselves taste good to humans so that we would eat them and breed more of them so their species would continue. Plants are idiots.

Don’t tend to eat much meat at all these days, and don’t really miss it.
