Anyone think this is justifiable?

No. Living over 2000 years would be chit.
He doesn’t need to justify it to anyone

Unless Bill Gates frequents JA, I don’t think it’s likely he will try to justify it here.
However, the OP asks if we think it justifiable. I don’t believe anybody needs that amount of money, but we fo have to take into consideration money he has goven to charity.
If you got a job the year Christ was born

Funnily enough, it was around that time that I did get my first job - turning pregnant women away from inns and hotels under the pretence that there were no vacancies. Good times.
Someone should tell him he’s not allowed to earn any more.
Who’s in charge around here?
Hang on
100k a day, 2000 years ago would be billions a day or are we not counting inflation in this math?
I'm not asking Bill Gates thinks it justifiable, because clearly he does.
Yes he gives a lot to charity, but it would be the same if he didn't.
But do people think he earned it, deserved it. Would it have been better if he had been restricted to a billion say, and the rest going to social problems, or cutting the price of Windows for example.
He's giving away billions and he's involved in lots of projects valuable to humanity. He's probably one of the better rich dudes out there. Not sure why you picked him. He's not even the richest person in the world anymore.

In exchange for more control of your computer.
Why should people be restricted at how much they make? It would slow down innovations. Plus it's communism.

Whatever this has to do with the OP
If the business someone made is still continuing to be used by millions and still earning money, unless they fold the business how can you say that aren’t still ‘earning’ that money?
Or once they make a billion should they be forced to hand they company over to someone else, and so on.
