One of the problems. There were more than one.
Rashford, Sancho and Martial are a better fit for how ETH plays.
The season before Ronaldo came we scored more goals and other players bailed us out.
There is a reason why only the Saudis want Ronaldo.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
It really is this simple. No idea why some fans can't grasp it
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Just like it was simple to grasp adding Varane, Sancho and Ronaldo improves us but it did not work out that way. Anyone that says they reckon we were going to be so bad last year after our signings is lying, but football is not black and white
----------------------------------------------------------------------
OK let's keep a player that doesn't press, despite the fact the new manager has stressed this week how he wants to press. That should work
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Are we now onto another point seeing as your first point was easily showed up.
Stop using words like "let's", we are are not doing anything! The same manager that said that also said he would like to keep the player. I suppose that should work too.

Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag has broken his silence on Cristiano Ronaldo's future. The Portugal internaitonal wants to leave Old Trafford behind, less than a year on from his return from Juventus. And, now, things have become clearer.

----------------------------------------------------------------------
If you say reasons I agree. One is not a lot want to end up like Barcelona paying a 37 year old 500k, this I fully get as much as I like the fella.
But the idea no big club wants him I don't believe this. Also to this day I have not heard Ronaldo or one person from his camp confirm that he wants to leave. Of course it does not look great him not turning up for pre season, but rumour has it his mum is genuinely ill
Last season ending up like it did and Ole being sacked didn't come as a surprise, even after finishing second and the signings we made.

Since Ole left Manchester United, what other mid table club never mind big enquired about his services? Tells me all I need to know. Some here believed say Everton would go for Ole hahaha

Have you heard him say he wants to stay? No. And all the reliable sources have reported that he wants to leave. I dont have an doubts that he has genuine personal circumstances that are keeping him away from training/the tour though. He is a consummate professional

We had lots of issues under Ole going back long before he arrived and they would've persisted, with or without him although there's no doubt he compounded a few of them and as a team we became even more one dimensional than we already were.

Because he became the focal point of the team and we were less of a threat that way. We need to spread the goals around the team more. That is how we have always had most success. Even when we had Ruud banging the goals in, we weren't as competitive.

Last season ending up like it did and Ole being sacked didn't come as a surprise, even after finishing second and the signings we made.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Last season ending up like it did for me was a huge surprise. I agree Ole getting chopped no surprise. The guy was out of his depth. Since Ole left Manchester United, what other mid table club never mind big enquired about his services? Tells me all I need to know. Some here believed say Everton would go for Ole hahaha

Scholay man, there’s a reason no other big club wants him.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
You would imagine he would take a pay cut if one was genuinely interested. The Chelsea owner wanted him but Tuchel said no. Bayern have also ruled out any move for him. Any big club would be crazy to go near him.

Have you heard him say he wants to stay? No. And all the reliable sources have reported that he wants to leave. I dont have an doubts that he has genuine personal circumstances that are keeping him away from training/the tour though. He is a consummate professional

This is all speculation! Nowhere have I heard Tuchel said No. It can also be that we are holding firm and saying we are not interested in selling. Bayern Munich may well have said no but I also don't see Bayern paying Ronaldo 500k.

I don't hate the guy. Fantastic player. I just don't think we are stronger as a team with him in it. As evidenced by the teams performance last season. I also don't think that he suits ETH's style of play.

‘Out of respect we don’t comment on these players because we don’t like other coaches to speak about our players. This is where this has to stay.
And he also said the above.
Sterling will also be my top target compared to Ronaldo but that is not saying No to ronaldo. But of course that is what you want to believe. It is bordering on sad

That's not really fair tbh and I hate the pr!ck.
