Why does anyone think there would be a queue to show Scottish football.

If you go to tender and only one responds then you're finished.

Do people really believe that Amazon, etc would bid for that.

Maybe Disney would take it and we could really have a Mickey Mouse league.

No chance of getting a big deal when one club can go bust and another likes to pick their own sponsors.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Worse Mags - you go to tender and nobody responds!

You then have to be prepared to go cap in hand back to Sky on a really weak bargaining position, set up your own (and lets face it that's going to be worse shoestring scheite than Sportscene or Sky) or give each team their own rights which no team outside the big 2 can easily make a go of.

BT already made noises about dropping the CL and getting out of sports output. Premier total annual revenue is <$5m so it is probably a non-starter? Amazon? Viaplay might be a shout as they are in expansion mode and keen to expand in the UK hence the SFA deal but fck mne I don't want to view scheite streams.

Maybe Rangers think bringing down Doncaster is more important and every cant hates them anyway? Bizarre but hey ho.

And no, this isn't a Doncaster love in.

All this at a time when the prime tv attracted countries are going through a cost of living crisis not seen since the war

Many are looking at cutting costs such as streaming platforms; so it doesn’t paint a great picture for somehow expecting much in the way of a bidding war where none has previously existed.

it comes down to marketing surely?

if it's marketed right, the old firm game, the lure of such an audience (which btw was being championed on here yesterday).

The problem is these ar$eholes aren't capable of that

Interesting read
Celtic play at a fast pace and are helped by well trained ball boys who have a ball thrown into a players hands almost before it has gone out of play, Rangers throw and the ball is rolled on the ground to the players feet. Whether morally right or wrong it is no worse than players falling down when a puff of wind catches them, plus as far as I know nothing in the rules against it. Team effort as Silver said.
JFK, yup, I don't remember anyone calling for a new goalie before the season started. Finally, how many players did Celtic not have available due to injury?
Rangers, off the top of my head: Helander,Davies,Soutar,Hagi,Roofe,Matondo

How many of them were available against PSV Schiz?

Not a dig at you personally, but it has been mentioned a few times, even before the game. Was a bad day at the office for Rangers. Don't know if anything disruptive is going on in the background, but if they were all missing for that game, problem probably lies elsewhere for Saturday's result

@Pallaver, Was aimed more at the Rangers supporters you are critical of the board for not buying new players. Even with some or all available still think Celtic would have been too strong on current form

losing Kyogo to injury should have been a blow but wasn't.

what would your ideal lineup be Schiz? injury free?

On the ball boy thing that's all just part of home advantage I'm afraid. Worse is Euro ties (Rangers have done it too) when clubs remove them altogether to kill the game. 10k fine from UEFA and they do it again next time, same tariff. I'd argue for doubling each time only we'd be bankrupt for other misdemeanors

Any different to putting away fans in a corner / up in the gods? Any different to giving teams a smaller dressing room? Letting off fireworks at the team hotel? Etc.

Oooft Rangers announce a 4th kit - maybe hoping there'd been a surge of euphoria after Saturday?

A fit Davies or Helander, a fit Morelos, Hagi and Lawrence available would have made us stronger, but if the application and attitude is not correct, then games a bogie

tbf many of you were quite happy with sands after PSV, i think Davies will be first choice.

Injuries are mostly down to bad luck, i don't think we can include morelos in that, his poor attitude is his problem.

Also he can only score against us when no fans are allowed in.

Ideally you want no fans so that McLaughlin and Morelos will be decent and then if we replace Ange with Neil Lennon you'll be good.

Think its all the same mate? Let's face it, as Ginger has said, taking some bird to court for using the logo in the US but not a 'rogue' trader supposedly jumping announcement embargoes - repeatedly?

Rangers' ball boys are welcome to do the same. Don't think this is even an issue.

I'd be delighted if you got the ball to Lundstrum as quick as possible. In fact i think Ange should tell the ball boys next time to get it to a Rangers player ASAP because none of them are sufficiently quick mentally to deal with it.

The club should be getting on top of that instead of supporting it.

Said similar on Saturday when I heard his pre-match interview, first time I'd heard him speak. Big lurch looking guy with a wee pipsqueak slevvery Scouse accent. Quite the contrast
