More accomplished technically, but Vini's output is far higher for now.
Vini isn't a top 5 player though. I don't think I could name an elite player present or past who uses the ball less efficiently than him. He might be able to get there one day, but he won't if he continues to be as wasteful as he is.

As someone who rarely watches Bayern or Germany, how good is Kimmich nowadays? Seems to have fallen off the radar a bit perhaps due to his more understated role, but he's also that kind of player who can be the most important cog in the wheel whilst still going largely unnoticed.

After watching Alisson this season for Liverpool I’m gobsmacked anyone would put him near this list, I’m also surprised he’s starting ahead of Ederson
It's always a bad sign for the team when the goal keeper is the best player...but our midfield and defence have pretty much been non-existent this season.

Would be happy standing my my opinion that they're the best in the world in their position (CF, all round CM, wide forward).

Valverde is Avington a great season so far for sure but 5 months good form doesn't put him in the top five best players in the world for me.

Great keeper who is good at most things but as I've said numerous times on here, I've never seen a keeper get away with so many errors.
Switzerland didn't lay a glove on Brazil the other night yet he did his best to gift them a goal on one occasion.
