Well done Oldie.
Tight one, 1-1 for me too.

If there is more than 2 goals in this game I will leave the site for a whole hour

We should be aiming to win this one. We are at home against Brentford. They will make it tough, but if we set up positively I think we'll get something out of it.

Our next three games are all winnable. If we pick up two wins I think we are safe. 4 points including avoiding losing against Leicester and we are nearly there. That should be the minimum target in my opinion.

Brentford look to be on the beach now so you would hope we go at them from the off with the same intensity we did with Chelsea. If we do then we should win. Would like to see Ait-Nouri for Toti but Bueno works as well.

I hope this isn’t true in a way, but my information is that Ait-Nouri has his heart set on a move to Manchester City and will leave the club in the summer.

His relationship with Lopetegui has hit new lows, when he stormed away from Molineux after the team sheet was announced prior to the Leeds match.

Personally I think we have handled his development badly and there is a world class player there. (sorry wolfie)

Yeah, it looks like Ait-Nouri will join the list of great youngsters we have managed to push out.

Goncalves never settled, could we have done more?
MGW was just handled poorly many times, happy to bail out when the chance came.
Vitinha didn't have any interest in coming back apparently and now features in PSGs midfield.

Pretty sure I am forgetting someone as well as it is late and I am tired.

Add Ait-Nouri to that perhaps and you could argue that is the four best youngsters we have had and all wanted out or were happy to leave. Bit of a concern given our whole mantra is promoting youth to bridge the gap.

Toti's played well in his last two games, so there's really no reason to drop him. He's better suited in a back 4 than RAN. However, if we did go with 3-5-2, then I would consider him on the left as a WB, where he's better suited.

Toti played well against Chelsea, although he still looks ungainly going forward. He was poor against Forest.

Bueno and RAN are better options at left back if fit. Toti is a good option to fill in as cover.

Manager and team a bunch of sh!ts. No pushovers though. Expect a draw which would be acceptable. Hope we stuff them.

Never understood Wolfies stance, he moans and moans about goals but then always backs the list attacking full back.

Guy is a Wum. Critical of our strikers but tipped them to fire us into Europe last summer!

Thankfully, I've blocked that cretin who spends all his time trying to disrupt this forum.

I think you are over rating RAN to be honest cinci. He's a good squad player, but in terms of getting the goals we desperately need, he's not produced the goods. 3 goals in 64 appearances hasn't exactly helped your argument that he should start.

If the rumours are true and that he had had a falling out with the coaching staff, that says a lot about his attitude and why he's being left out of the squad. He should have fought to get his place back like most professionals do, but sulking will not help his cause.

I like Bueno, but since Toti has come in, he's deservedly kept his place, imo.

Ait-Nouri has been comfortably our most productive FB/WB the last few seasons. As i said the other day, double the production of Semedo who has played 20 odd more games.

And Ait-Nouri will 100% play for one of the biggest clubs in football in the next couple of years.

Looks like witless has logged out to read my post again.

3 goals in 64 appearances is more than some of our “strikers”!

I think I’ll take Peps judgement over wolfie’s. 😂

After having beaten Chelsea I would be disappointed if we don’t beat Brentford, don’t underestimate the difficulty in getting the points we need, we want to be 4 points clear going into the the Arsenal last game

posted on 13/4/23

Could be that the title is settled one way or the other by that Arsenal game which would be nice. If not then yeah, you would expect zero points from that one.

Why are we judging a full back on goals?

Kyle Walker scores less goals than RAN. Andy Robertson has a similar strike rate.

I'm guessing we wouldn't want them as our fullbacks?

as goal difference worse than Leeds Leicester and West Ham may need a 4 point cushion , also worse than Palace who probably will be ok although personally I would like to see them go down the most due to rubbish ground and irritating fans even though they are my nearest Prem team

No idea if these RAN rumours are true, I like him as a player and hope he stays but I'm not convinced he's got the ability to step up and star for a big club. If that was the case he would stand out in our side and I don't think he does really. In fact I think Bueno has as much potential.

Toti is a bit of a conundrum for me, looks like a talented footballer but not convinced he's a wing back and is at the moment a bit lightweight for a centre back. Reminds me a bit of Iorfa.

I think RAN will go onto play for a big club and make us look pretty stupid. Can be added to the list with Goncalves and Vitinha.

As a club, I actually think we have been pretty terrible at bringing through young players since we got back to the Premier League and they would be better off elsewhere if they want to progress.
