Yes we need a striker but who’s actually gonna provide for him?

Robbsie

Just out of interest have any of the players you have championed that we should sign at all cost, been any good for us.

Iris like you jinx them.

A new striker will be like rolling a crap through glitter. We don't have good enough supply from the wing and fullbacks to even benefit from the one we just signed.

I'd sooner go find a world class right winger who can actually make chances and consistently than sign Toney tbh.

Aboubakar and some young winger nobody has heard of that is ‘destined’ to be world class ten years from now seems most likely.

The players i don’t champion still don’t work out so perhaps it’s the club rather than I.

Bruno and Eriksen. Hojlunds rawness has perhaps made people forget that we do have some creativity in the squad.

I'm sick of signing unproven nobodies.

We need proven prem forwards who want to play for United. Top 3 candidates for me would be:

1. Ighalo. A goal a game in the Saudi league and is a big united fan. Prem proven

2. Ronaldo. Loves the club and is top scorer in the Saudi league. Would love to make a triumphant return to the club that made him.

3. Lingard. Prem proven and loves the club. Currently without a club so should be able to get him for £80m-£90m.

Scarily enough, that’s less a crazy idea than we’d think. Our top scorer in the PL by November 😳

Can't we do a Greenwood Antony swap? That way we get a really good player back and are 'wrong un' count doesn't increase. One in and one out. 😂

(Not a serious suggestion)

Other potential options:

Lukaku - 5 goals in 8 for Roma this season. Proven in the prem and throughout Europe. Should do a job for United.

Greenwood - scored in La Liga this season, loves the club and is proven in the prem

Rooney - younger than Ronaldo, loves the club, prem proven, still looks hungry despite how much it appears that he has eaten in the past few years.

Seriously should have signed Gyokeres as well as Hojlund in the summer.

Both players have similar attributes so would have represented some joined up thinking in terms of rotating without drastically affecting the attacking patterns (if we had any that is) and Gyokeres was available for dirt cheap.

He's now banging them in at Sporting.

Another option (though raw too) is my main man at Feyenoord. Santiago Gimenez.

Never heard of Gyokeres, looks seriously good on YT. Played for Coventry City at one point?

Yeah I'd never have him back now hence the 'not serious' bit

Still hurts though as he was THE one. The diamond who comes along once every 25/30 years in the academy.

We are definitely going to have to buy another forward soon as Martial will be leaving in the summer. I just want to see us sign a top winger who can actually beat a man and deliver a good cross.

At this stage I’d just settle for signing players with funny names.
