Whining like a little girl yesterday, good to see you've seen sense.

It's a transitional period, it's a long term rebuild job. Bumps along the way are inevitable.

Why whining like a little girl? Why not whining like a middle aged white male or whining like a grown man? The blatant sexism on here is disgusting

It looked like Antony had a bit of purpose about him last night. Mainoo was cool when he came on. Can't really fault the overall effort last night and I don't think we capitulated this time; mainly it was Onana's mistake(s) that cost us.

I was surprised how well we did at Everton - three goals unanswered is quite something for us. But it's Newcastle away next and again the first hope realistically is that we don't get mullered.

I’ve defended Antony more than most and yes he’s bad a couple of very poor displays before last night but he’s better than some give him credit for.

Garnacho is showing signs that he is coming of age.

I’d give both of them a run in our wide areas.

I wish our "fans" would stop writing people off so early, that also includes the manager. Imagine your boss at work lacking belief in you!

It’s difficult to see things clearly during the game as you’re emotionally Involved. However, I still think Varane is our best defender. He anticipates danger and organises his defense well, and that Lindelof is the exact opposite: he invites dangers and has no sense of organization. And, by the way, your comment is sexist.

Stop whining, start backing the manager and team 😤

Varane is yesterday's man, injury prone and can no longer be relied upon. We can do so much better. The manager no longer trusts him.

I do back the manager. Never lost faith in him. But that doesn’t mean I agree with all his decisions. If you’re unable to see the difference, then you’re a simpleton.

There's a big difference between putting a cogent argument across questioning a selection or tactic to some of the whining and idiotic "eth out" posts we see continuously, supposedly from match going fans.

Here you go again telling people what they should be doing. Who are you to say anything? What makes you voice of the fans pal?

As I told you last night.....as a arm chair supporter you're totally disconnected from us actual fans. Coming off the ground this season after losses to Brighton, Galatasaray, City, Newcastle etc there's loads of people questioning the manager now and why wouldn't they? The team is going backwards. The signings have largely been crap too. The goalkeeper is the main reason we are unlikely to qualify to last 16 and that's Eriks man.

If you want to be positive then that's fine. Nobody is stopping you. Please stop telling others what to feel and think though. Your opinion is no more valid than anyone else's.

Not to be that person but it still stinks. Defence is still very shoddy, with Onana and Maguire the unquestioned best players in our "turn around ". Still with that are giving up 10+ chances a game. His midfield tactics is putrid and this weekend we are going to watch rashford and Bruno give us a usual underwhelming performance.

Shaw is a massive plus. Garnacho is improving. Mainoo is godsent at this point. But we still have viruses that need an incision.

Ladies and gentlemen the forum's biggest bed wetting whiner is here! 😉

I have nothing against opinions, I just don't agree with your view on managerial change for the sake of change.

So glad not all match going fans are stupid and misguided as you.

Reasons to be cheerful, the attacking potential. The joy Mainoo and Nacho are giving us is immense.

Areas to address: game management, control and defensive awareness. May not be possible with the current collection of players.

You'll look back on all the bumps, all the errors, and appreciate the success far more in a few years. Patience, mate, patience!

We need to find the right balance between the gung ho attacks and loose defending from the CL and cautious approach from the league. Eth can do better as can the current, albeit limited, squad.

Football is a funny old sport. A game where managers can waste billions, get fired with the entire planet knowing about it, and still get another job easily.

It was undoubtedly the closest to being the best team-like performance this season. Not great, but it's all relative

However, as a caveat, the performances always improve when rashford doesn't start. So we'll have to wait and see if that "progress" is real or a blip

As for mctominay and pellistri, well that's because they are not actually good enough for this club anyway

The former is useless at the best of times - although I'm beginning to think sticking him up front might not be such a bad idea. He can't do so much damage to his own team in that position, indeed, he could turn out be quite a nuisance alongside players like martial and hojlund

As for fernandes being captain, or not, that's kind of irrelevant. It's largely nothing more than a nominal and unnecessary label. His contribution as a player is second to very few.

And yes, Mount and Anthony are undoubtedly two of the club's better current player.

Still need to get rid of dalot and lindelof really sharpish though. There is much better available.

Ten Sacked took out Amrabat for Mainoo at 1-3 and Gala created more clear cut chances after that. Shot himself in the foot there IMO

Not calling you out, but what were the selfish plays from Pellestri and McT? Surely not shooting from range?

They are somehow supposed to pass the ball to people being marked even after making the space in front of the post. Somehow if your shots are off target or require good saves from their goalie, you facked up.
