January Transfer Window

Said it when Dowell signed that he was one for the treatment table. He was even seriously injured when the signing was announced ffs. Don't knew why we continue to throw good money at players with no track record of staying fit.

Manager on transfers - there are things close but there are details still. Until a player is here he is not here.

I know this period, it’s nothing new. It’s why every manager looks forward to Feb 1st!

I am not frustrated. I know everyone is working hard.

Same as every Jan window. Don’t know why folk are surprised at lack of movement, we did well to get Silva in early

Would imagine any deal is dependent on another deal.

Yilmaz done well again last night by looks of it, but seems to be one that would be funding any other moves if he goes. Seen there’s potential fees we have to pay soon based on appearances coming up too

i dont think he was ever good though, just a big waste of money.

rozental was meant to be decent was he not.

jardel is the one for rangers fans, the big what if

mind negri, that was terrifying that year.

first 2 games were a nightmare for us, all the while he's banging them in.

5m for a defender back in those times suggest he was brought in a top player, think it was a record fee for a defender then ?

I sure it was him or Berkovic that set the record transfer of all time for celtic when they signed?

i dont disagree he was meant to be good according to whatever crackpot signed him, but he wasn't.

what i mean is ball was at least a good player, Rozental as well.

to clarify, my point is that rafael was a bad signing, those 2 were unlucky.

ahhh apoligies. Id say Prodan was worse tbf...

joined us as Romania captain, got injured didnt play a single game, left us and went straight back into the Romania team as captain again.

with Ball we thought we were getting the best LB in England... He was good but not great for a dominating team as he was more defensive FB than attacking one.

think we were due to pay another 3m if he made another league appearance for us at the time he left.

forgot about prodan, legendary luck that guy.

i recall when we signed derk boerrigter , mind blowing stupidity that one given our history with injuries.

suddenly the most injury prone guy in the world would be fine.

think he got injured 20 mins into his first game.

both are bad for it ... desperately chasing "quality" and somehow hoping that the player that has spent most of his career injured will suddenly come good.

I dont count Roofe as rangers player, he is more a mascot now.

Derk was not normal - he was cutting about with a supermodel but drove a 15yo heap of junk with Dutch plates - and it was brown, bits fallen off it and hadn't been washed in years - a true tim!

Mind you the rest of the cants fly up and down the farm road cutting every other cant up. Bitton was bad, always had lawyers trying to get him off driving offences. Farmer put speed bumps in, signposted, then grew his hedge over the signs!

Mind the summer there was speculation Moussa was leaving he'd gone into the local Range Rover dealer and pre-ordered a new LHD job. Talk of the steamie and amazing the press nor Rodgers got wind of it.
