Not expecting anyone else coming in to be honest. Maybe a couple going out on loan. Rodgers has already said he has Scales to cover at LB if needed. It's bordering on negligence not to get another striker in this window, even on loan. With Oh away (and question marks over whether he's good enough anyway) and Kyogo struggling to make an impact against teams who play deep we are taking a huge risk. I think beating Rangers has given the Board the confidence that we don't need to spend much to win the league again but it's definitely in the balance. Reading this morning that Vata might be ready to sign a new contract off the back of him scoring against Buckie but he doesn't look ready to start IMO and won't get us the goals to secure another title. Disappointed we've not gone for Miovski or even Shankland as I think both would score a bundle of goals for us.

doesn't matter what side you are on, his view of palestine is very different from ours, he's had countrymen murdered by them, and will overlook the actions of his own country the way the uk and usa do in that its in defence of it citizens.

to then walk out at celtic park and see the flags of that country after the massacre that occurred, absolutely no chance he would want to stay.

no one is saying the whole support, or any of it at the grounds. but it was in the media that he and Bitton had had abuse online. And as was said most likely an accumulation of factors.

I dont really see why it would be so hard to imagine that pro Palestine fans would hold a grudge against an Israeli player. it is what it is.

Totally agree with that. I'm making the point that he's not had personal abuse from fans inside the ground, in fact the opposite is true. Yes there's been plenty of Palestine flags flying but I genuinely haven't seen or heard any abuse of Abada.

Im surprised he came back at all.... if he scores and celebrates there will be photos of him celebrating whilst the fans wave Palestine flags.... the backlash from that back home could be horrendous for him and his family etc.
