Dessers we all know aint up to the standard but his record under Clement aint that bad.

15 games : 7 goals , 4 assists certainly not the worst. He can freeze when he need to pull the trigger but his numbers really aint that terrible

So here we are with just over a week of the window left, and predictably the ‘Tic seem to be doing fook all any time soon. Kuhn may or may not be decent (I’ve no idea), but his stats don’t exactly scream first team starter quality to me. Is he playing ahead of Maeda, Palma or Abada when they’re all available? We also already have/had Forrest, Yang, Kwon and Tilio in the wide positions (albeit we seem to have already written off the last 2 genius summer buys). Meanwhile Greg Taylor (who isn’t good enough anyway) remains our only serious LB option, ditto Kyogo up top, and we’ve nae cant as back up/competition to a fading Joe Hart. Priorities?! Hmm.

Maeda will most likely be thought of as back up striker to Kyogo i think.

Aye, that would be the worry, given BR’s thinking early on after his return!

what I will add however is that if Clement / Beale had spent most of December saying that they need more quality in and after 3 weeks all we had done is bring in a back up winger then he and the board would be getting slaughtered.... there is still a week remaining for Rodgers to add the players he was alluding to.

Pistol, as ever, will be waiting for the bargain bucket final evening of the window. Imagine there might have been more urgency had we not won the last OF. As nice as that was, it was probably a double-edged sword in terms of strengthening the squad … which any eejit can see is badly needed in certain key areas.

i hate lawwell.

we had a terrific window when he was gone, now he is back and we are snails pace again.

some people say the two aren't linked, too coincidental not to.

why pay 4 weeks wages when you can get him on the last day of the window?

Shankland is a non starter imo, we need a striker that can give us something in Europe and he's not that. Age profile isn't right either. No sell on value.
==========

in my opinion you need 2 strikers.

shankland absolutely improves your chances of winning the league, the money that comes with that make it a worthwhile investment in my opinion.

Wonder if clement will move to his preferred 442 once he has shaped his squad

this is pretty much exactly what he did at Monaco aswell. the 10 and the striker push up off the ball to be the two pressing forwards.

He's too volatile for that job and knows its probably his last chance at a big club if it doesn't go well.
Neil Lennon type implosion before the end of the season.

Fair play to Celtic offering free washes to the fans inside the stadium "sheltered under the roof"

Hes done pretty well so far to be fair.

Won a cup and dropped 6 fewer points in the league than Celtic.

And that was with Beales donkeys....

Thats great. Genuinely delighted for you and your signs.

Not sure what that has to do with the claims our stadium needs rebuilt though?
