If there is a clamour to replace him (if it even comes to that) who would we go for? Liverpool will get first dibs on a top manager. United might sack Tent peg so we will get 3rd or 4th choice.

100% he's has to get next season and be judged on that. I think we also have to factor in him being backed with the type of players he wants and not the fabled club signing or he was cheap option. Levy will have a lot to think about in pre-season.

I really do hope we are looking at players and working on deals now to sign them in the summer break. Not mess about until the Euro's are over then pay over th odds for some gash players.

I'm pretty sure Ange has the final say on all signings so we can't be blaming Levy. Same goes for Werner. It will be Ange's choice.

The thing that keeps me excited is Paratici very shortly has another summer window to improve us - he has found quality for us for a while now and will do so again

Well we normally dominate passing stats against most opponents and we did against Newcastle too, unfortunately we had no end product to show for 73% possession 🤔😵‍💫

"We knew we couldn't play our normal way against this team because they are so good with the ball so we tactically changed a little bit and went man for man," he said. "I think our game plan the manager put us with was outstanding and helped us throughout the game."

I do not believe this for one second.
They may have done SOME man marking,true....Son was often double teamed.
But what I witnessed all the time was a back 5 line stretched across the Newcastle penalty area.
THAT is NOT man marking, ...it is parking the bus.
Watch the game again and you'll see it for yourself.

What happened is they parked thebus, Aussieglue put alll his high line into their half of the field, and then when they got the ball they hoofed into our half and it was a race between their CF and VDV. VDV lost twice, loosing his footing and falling over.
That led to two of their goals.

Werner wasn't "man marked"a lot of the time, he had two excellent scoring chances and fluffed both.

I'm actually shocked that supporters are genuinely talking like this about the possibility of sacking Ange.

When I see the odd comment on here or on twitter etc, I always tend to think its one of those saddo types that like to be provocative, to farm likes and interactions by saying something controversial

I had no idea there's actually proper calls to replace Ange in the summer

It's RIDICULOUS to consider doing that

Ange has had:
- Approx 4 years and 4-5 managers worth of tactics to undo in 1 summer
- Harry Kane leaving
- Supporters and club at loggerheads
- a rebuild to oversea in 1 season

In that time he's
- improved our style of play
- contributes to bringing in a fresh new group of players
- United the supporters and team more than we've had since the better Poch days
- has us in 5th in his first season
- think i read we've scored more than last season already.

Imagine seeing all the above goings on and after one heavy loss, demanding him to be sacked. Facking morons.

I'm not deluded into thinking he's perfect, far from it. I can see we're conceding goals for fun, mainly on the counter and from set pieces

I can see we're still coming up against these games where we get bummed 3 or 4-0.

These are all things that need to be corrected

But he's not even had a full season ffs and you're all expecting it to be like fifa where you spend x amount and everyone comes in and the computer puts them all together and makes them the perfect team

It's so childish and so blinkered and arrogant

Let the man work on his team, give him some time and space and if after next season NOTHING has been improved upon, then cool, let him know

But if after last season we're still seeing improvements, then thats what the whole point of a project is. It's building towards something
