One better thing about the Euros is the lack of time difference.

I mentioned elsewhere but pretty much every team in every group is odds on or close to evens to qualify from their group. Only Albania and Georgia are much above evens.
They've done the same to the CL now as well with a massive group stage and then at the end of it 24 out 36 are still in the competition.
The threat of losing and going out of the competition is what makes it competitive. Not whoever wins goes through but whoever loses also goes through but in a slightly lower position.
Nonsense.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Well exactly, Group B with Spain, Croatia, Italy and Albania would have been a hell of a group in the old format - it could still be of course but it is much more unlikely now with Spain, Croatia and Italy all expected to beat Albania - if they have a draw amongst them then all 3 are absolutely nailed on to qualify
Another good thing about the Euros is you have the Olympics soon after so you have something to look forward to after England go out in the KO rounds.

feel like I know the number of times each team has won the world cup but I don't have a clue about how many times each team has won the euros
-----
Germany and Spain - 3
France and Italy - 2
7 nations - 1

England - 0
Strength wise there isn't much in it as others have said, just add Argentina and Brazil and the occasional other South American side. Group stage wise the Euros are actually stronger.
The World Cup is still the romantics number one of course.

I'm a big fan of it, great competition that I hold in high regard personally. I imagine Danish fans feel very different to you (@barry?).

Spurs Europa
Spurs FA Cup
Spurs League Cup
