Well he has been sacked he hasn't found out about it yet.

Ange on #thfc's trophy parade:

"I didn't want us to just enjoy the moment. I also wanted us to think about what's next. We've got a taste of it now. My players have got a taste for it. The club's got a taste for it. Let's make sure we're back here."

He gave this interview to some Aussie TV earlier.

I just came on to wonder the same thing as it seems to be doing the rounds

I'm ready to be incredibly whelmed by the replacement

No credible sources picking up the Ange sacked line, but the dodgy ones who are reporting it seem to be going quite hard on it

People vastly underrate how good he was at Barca. Took Guardiola's peak side and arguably made them even better

Root has always been a seriously underrated limited overs players, probably due to his test credentials and the brute ODI side England had for those few years

Yeah the coverage and plaudits tend to go for the big hitters, not the guys who tick along at nearly 1 a ball and rack up 50 before you even notice they've got started. He was obviously so heavily associated with the test side/captaincy too, so I guess again he just kept scoring one-day runs and no one noticed

Always thought he was abut of fraud to be honest but yeah he is the man.

Betfair and Oddschecker jumping on the Ange out rumours now, which is presumably just them sniffing an opportunity. Surprised it took them this long.

I know nothing about her other than fans hate her.

Why the hate?

I think she may have held meeting the Supporter's Trust in the past hence the reputation. But I'm guessing.

I'm pretty sure she was the one who asked Daniel why does it matter of the fans can't come..to the games (during covid), in that fly.on the wall docu thing.

I think generally fans don't like her because she's a big Levy ally who's seen as part of the problem re prioritising the business over the football

I've heard that she is awful to work with

Was always speculated that she was the only one that had levy’s ear and was continually pushing for less fan interaction

Keep finding myself defending Ange a manager I’ve wanted out for 6 months and a manager who’s personality I don’t even like.
