On the basis of their intro music, I now want both to lose.
Zhao settled in well, 1-0.
Zhao wins the opening frame. Good start from him.
Century for Zhao and he leads 2-0.
Pure class, just keep going
That was a bad miss by Zhao
Ok when does the warm up act from the local pub stop and the final event begin?
Wow, what a steal from Zhao, could be a key frame already
Zhao steals the frame and leads 3-0.
William's playing like a 50 yr old today
So irritating he wasn't making these errors against Judd.

----------------------------------------------------------------------
After such a great effort against Judd, it's tough to start off the next match in the same vein - it's rare to come off one great performance and just carry on as normal. Zhao hasn't been faultless either, but look better, and having a bit more extra prep time was an added bonus.
This is similar to second session in Zhao Wakelin match - Wakelin was so bad it seemed to drag Zhao down with him. Both players not really playing that great, still missing simple balls
Williams gets his first frame
Relief for Williams he is off the mark and trails 3-1.
Zhao won't want to get bogged down here and make it too tactical
Should be another frame for Zhao. 4-1.
Zhao wins the frame and leads 4-1.
Williams misses the red on 61 and it's a great chance for Zhao to steal the frame.
34 break from Zhao and he leads 5-1 and guarantees a lead going into this evening.
5-1 Zhao. Stealing frames which you would expect Williams to do. If it was the other way round, you could imagine the commentary team having a field day saying how Zhao's inexperience is counting against him etc.
Williams making poor errors - he looks like he is making the right shot selection, but not executing well or totally committing to it
With all the fawning that is done over the Co92, it's factual that in the last 14 seasons (not including the 2025 WSC), Williams and Higgins have won a total of one Triple Crown event.
This is going 6-1. The worst thing for Williams is that Zhao hasn't been faultless. You would expect Williams to improve, but the same could be said of Zhao. On another day, Zhao could have been level / behind the way he has played
