Forgive me if I am wrong considering my maths is acceptable at best but take the numbers away after the decimal point and just using the first numbers you are a bit out. If Pool are on 89 and Spurs 63 then adding 31 to 63 makes 94? therefore passing 89.

Is it me or has the OP mysteriously disappeared??

Speaking as a person who is NOT even a spurs fan (and well known as a maths duffer) that is still the worst article ever.

Where is my comic book guy smiley?

You have to take out 2007/08 from the equation don't you?

I can not believe I am having to do this but the 63.732 you have ALREADY include 6.9 of the possible 31.76 you might get if you won it

It is hard to believe not one of you could work that simple thing out

That may or may indeed not be the case but it's not what you said in your original article.

I think he was using humour as a defence mechaism

Mack :

As far as I know, tis a 5 yr sliding window.
So the 2008/9 value is replaced by 2012/13.

Which if the Poool don't qualify for a UEFA tournament next season, and Spurs finish at least Euro QFs this season, then parity has been reached.

Oh, I thought it was a 4 year thing.

Exactly why is this of importance to a Chelsea fan anyway?

Their european record is hardly anything to boast about.

My mistake for not realising that you weren't bright enough to know that you already had 6.9pts from this season even though it is listed in the link

The RDBD
But that isn't what Devonshire said.He is wrong end of.

At the risk of coming across all Ensil (yuck, can you imagine, I bet he wears a navy blazer, it would show all the stains), at least check as article before you post it.

After the end of season Liverpool will lose 24pts (07/08) and Spurs will lose 16pts (07/08).

So that is a deficit of 8pts that has to be taken into account.

Spurs reaching the QF may well just close the gap with the benefit of those 8pts.

CPofL :

We can cross the Ts and dot the Is, but the essence of it is sound. Spurs getting 20-ish pts via the Europa cup this yr, brings parity for the start of the 2012/13 season.

No,what he said was FACTUALLY wrong. That is all I have CORRECTLY pointed out.I really don't see why you think you need to make excuses for him and why you're desperate to try and prove him right when what he sais was FACTUALLY wrong.PERIOD.
