Ive gone past caring, if we lose him we move on. If hes leaving at the end of the season we've had long enough to find a replacement now.
Messia
Just nice to FINALLY hear what he has to say for himself, never heard a peep out of him since his comments over the summer
Sounds like he ain't pulling any punches and is being realistic about things. You can't tell what's around the corner so why concern yourself. If the press want to print rubbish there isn't much you can do apart from ignore it, as usually it turns out to be dreamt up rubbish designed to fill the back pages.
His performances should be our main area of focus and a means by which we judge his commitment or otherwise. So far so good and long may it continue, init

You have basically summed up this article in a matter of seconds
Missed a golden opportunity against Sunderland so he's not perfect and as you say messiah,we move on.
Not sure what your smiling at TCP
Dawn long time no speak where have you been hiding out?
you have a good xmas and that?
Its true if we do lose him the team doesnt suddenly implode. Yeah we lose a good player but there are other good players out there
I have no problems with this, although I would say reading between the lines that Champions League football is something that we require to keep hold of him.
I can't blame him for that, for wanting to play at the top level with the top players, same with several others we have. Why wouldn't you want to play at the highest level.
As much as the summer was annoying, it wasn't like he pulled a serious Berbatov, granted the two Manchester games were an issue, yet I think Harry with some of his comments were also a cause. (At the same time I think Harry was trying to stay in the players good books - good cop, bad cop with Levy).
The suitable offer thing is just a general statement really, we all know that if a crazy offer came in then theres a chance it could be accepted, though I don't think anyone would offer the silly money for Levy to accept.
I would like to think that if we qualified for Champions League then none of the players we have would want to leave. Its part of the reason why I couldn't take the Europa League seriously this year because without CL status next season we would stand to lose at least 1 great player. Its top priority this year, and I think we all know that.
I have no problems with players having ambition, its a good thing if properly focused, half the time I think the media and the agents have a negative influence that is hard for players to ignore.
Its better for us as a club to match the players ambitions than to resign to let them go, and so far this season I think we are doing just that. This is key for future growth in my view.
31 Moments - Personally i dont see ANY offer that would convince Levy to sell in this window, to disrupt the excellent start we have had would be madness and you cant put a price on the position we are in right now
I think its just interesting to hear what Modric has to say, he was all for speaking about leaving, then it went all silent up until now. Something tells me his agent(s) had a big role to play in the summer, it was quite clear they told him to try and force a move away by saying his head was not in the right place to play against Man Utd...if he gets his head down and plays as he has been we have every expectation to get CL football and that should be enough to convince him to stay
Everything is great thank you messiah and a busy Christmas at work. You? Modric has missed sitters for us and that wouldn't automatically change if he moved to another club. Players take their strengths and weaknesses with them so he'd miss sitters for his new club as well.I hope in that case it's Chelsea.
Darth RDBD awaits the official Man Utd offer.
And then Chelsky + ratboy are done.
Modric seems to be able to hit the ball quite well from outside the box but when it comes to quite easy chances (Like against Norwich) he seems to fluff them

He is great tho at making space. Have watched him for a long while now and it just comes so easy to him. Hopefully tho if/when he does go we can get someone in that can be as effective as him.
RDBD - I don't think Man Utd would bid for him, they know we want a fortune for him and I just don't think they will spend that much on one player. I'm not saying they can't afford it, but I just don't think Fergie will want to spend that much money.
31 :
Only has to be a reasonable-ish offer, and official.
And the rest is done as the RDBD has foreseen.
31 Moments - You do have to laugh at some of the papers saying we will sell him for £30 million ...ask yourself how much is Levy's pride worth? You can double that figure to be honest
As you say, we have no reason to sell anyone we dont want to, things are looking up and i know there are a lot of people who think we can get 3rd..its a long season and i would take 4th RIGHT NOW given the chance
I have my doubts over this "Really special" player Harry keeps talking about, we have heard it all before in the transfer windows, i will believe it when i see's it
Not sure what this fascination is with PSG, they are just signing all the old guys with the big names..and who really wants to play in France?
Messia - Will be hard to replace Modric, especially someone we can afford the price tag and the wages! Magical player though

messia, I would hope that like in the 09/10 season Huddlestone would be able to fill that gap to a point, he did well that season when Modric was out at times. Im not saying he's a replacement but its not a bad player to have coming back hopefully soon.
That and our scouts had better be hard at work.
Very astute observation you have made about Levy and Bentley.
Wanna buy him, Chelsky ??
I'm sure the Levy tax on Bentleys is not that high.
That's twice now lately you've done that. You can't be wound up you say
Off the subject but watching the news last night and PSG were mentioned. Would Ancelotti want BeckHam? They're being signed separately.
RDBD - smash that useless crystal ball that obviously an arsenal fan gave to you as a joke present. I don't think he'd fit in at Man U anyway, bit like Berbatov, their fans would soon get on his back for not scoring enough, ignoring all the great things he does.
