He's on course to be the best English player of all time and being the number 1 nation in the world right now you can therefore make a case for him being the best batsman of his generation.

Agree, that Cook's the complete package... Also with him playing ODI Cricket, it'll only make him better, bring out more shots, aggression.... Should play T20 Cricket, tbh.

He got me out both time we played him... although I did hook him for a big six at home and a massive 2 over the keepers head in the away game

malcolm was an all time great for sure. i dont think it's right to compare his batting with tendulkar and lara. the plain truth is that his batting was not up to that sort of company.
