Button Plant more Hoax stories in Media

http://www.planetf1.com/driver/18227/7646415/-Ferrari-wanted-Button-to-replace-Massa-

Reeling from his booboo in Malaysia,Button media operation is in overdrive, first he tried to dismiss Alonso ..that created a little storm..he then came back with wanting to partner Alonso...no boby thought that was credible so now he and his media team is regurgitating some false rumor they were circulating around last year about Ferrari wanted him

look Im not saying that he is no good enough for Ferrari,he certainly is..but given where Ferrari is right now with Alonso they would not want Button....

This is all Button desperately trying to raise his stock to mach Lewis

As I have mentioned in previous post Jenson button and his media operation will stop at nothing.....even Bogus stories to come across sympathetic

You know what Jenson SoME people have IT......and some people dont...and no amount of press manipulation is gonna get you there......LOL

One bad result...Lewis hasnt even really shone yet and Button is in a near panic mode....I mean think about it 3 non stories from Button in a week!

The reason JB is doing well, is down to his more refined driving style, as the new tyres wear more dramatically, he gets more out of them.

Hamilton is less kind to the tyres and aren't able to extract as much from them as they go off.

Here is another one of the lost souls!
Button is slower than Hamilton hence his tyres will last longer, try it yourself and your tyres will last longer, it works for me all the time!

JB and LH have both won 6 races each since JB went to McLaren.

Button however, has a better points total for that period (509 v 494), and has finished 2nd and 5th in the WDC, with Hamilton finishing 4th and 5th.

I think those stats bear out the true story as to who is the more capable driver given the same machinery over a period of 2 seasons.

Yes, the drivers do have skill...a teremendous amount, but there is NO way to determine who is actually the best driver out there
--------------

They've competed in similar car competitions before making the jump to F1 though

Having a great car is wonderful, but driving the great car and bringing it home is no easy task.

Look at Vettel's team mate or Alonso's team mate.

It's a very simplistic view you have mate and it's clear that you do not follow the sport.

If a car has a massive performance advantage and an okay driver, it will do well but the best drivers get the most out of crappy cars.

Has always been the case.

eg. lewis Hamilton was the best driver in the world at one point?? and also drve the fastest car......has his driving gone worse in the last few years..or the car has lost some ground on its competition???
---------------------

No he didn't drive the fastest car when he won the world championship. The Ferrari's were arguably the best cars on the grid that season.

Your perception that winning the championship means having the best car is inherently flawed because you do not appreciate or understand the sport.

If you have the best car and it's all about the best car, then the best car will win all the races in a season. Since that doesn't happen, your point is moot.

The car is very important no doubt but is only one piece of the puzzle.

It's also quite easy to tell who the best drivers on the grid are if you follow the sport as they outperform their cars. The two best drivers on the grid are Alonso and Hamilton. Has been that way since Schumacher left the sport

Well, for the most part, Schumacher drove a dominant Ferrari, and I recall Mansell won in that beast of a turbo Williams.

So I do see neon's point.

I agree that you need a good car but you also need a driver who can extract the maximum from the package.
