All the best

As a Liverpool fan, I want you to know that I really hope you get into the top 4, or at least finish 5th!

It is time this tired old league had a team like new Newcastle unsettle the establishment.

You have been consistent all season long and play good football, I am jealous!

C'mon the Toon!

What establishment?
Spurs, once finished in top four since there has been 4 CL places?
Man City, one finish in top 4?

Someone is sounding a bit bitter. You wouldn't worry about an establishment if Liverpool were a part of it!!

Establishment = Man U (forever!), Man C (in the last 2 seasons), Arsenal (forever!), Chelsea (10 years), Liverpool (not been a force for 3 years), Spurs (hit and miss).

Not bitter at all, more saying that a side that was playing Championship football a few years ago but has re-established themselves as a top English side deserves their plaudits for the way they have performed this season.

You can say bitter, but I'm giving respect where respect is due. i don't think many people would have expected Newcastle to performed like they have or be where they are this season. For that, I applaud them.

this is what i don't get.
So now there's an Establishment. tosh i say.

In the Early 90's it was UTD, by themselves.
Late 90's Arsenal join UTD.
Early 00's Chelsea join Arsenal & UTD
End of the Decade and City are now credible contenders.
Mix in some, Blackburn (C), Newcastle, Spurs, Everton and Liverpool, as making up the numbers, there's been a healthy mix.
Everyone at some stage have had a bite of the Pie.
Some portions smaller than others.
ok, we at UTD are greedy as hell, wot you gonna do?

but the Establishment theory is a myth.....

A year or two back everyone was celebrating Man City and Spurs breaking up the establishment, and now they are the establishment?

It wasn't that long ago when Newcastle were the only challengers to United, Ipswich were finishing in the top 5 and Villa were up there as well. Not to mention Everton, who have had a taste of the CL.

Every season there are "non-establishment" teams up there fighting.

Liverpool (not been a force for 3 years)

I wouldn't use the word force, but they were hanging around a bit though.

Newcastle have been fantastic this season.

I must admit before the season started having sold carrol, barton etc i thought you would struggle.

You have bought so well, Tiotte, Ba, Cisse, Ben Arfa and Cabaye, all fantastic players.

Krul is probably the best keeper in the prem and Coloccini has been fantastic in an injury hit defence.

Im a Spurs fan and wouldnt it be great for spurs and Newcastle to finish in the top four. Two well run clubs who play football the way it should be played.
