I wonder if this is going to lead to the expansion of tennis in Lancashire,Yorkshire and Cumbria.

I dont think that will happen,I think it will stay within the M25 corridor unlike RL and the M62 corridor.

A huge loss for Rugby League in the UK in my opinion.

not a huge loss the guy was a prat never listened to the fans he was just hell bent on expansion Rugby League is just a minority sport over here and expansion in the professional game is doomed to failure,although under his watch the amateur game has taken off nationwide which is still expansion but at a sensible level

Rugby League is such an enjoyable sport to play and be associated with at all levels except coaching & chairmen.
Both are thankless jobs unless you bring home the bacon, and we all know you can't do that every year.

Give me the Mascot job any day, stay young by playing with the kids and all the mums want to sit on ya knee...
