Agree, the current format is poor. I really do not like the two match finals. Play one and have done. Team with the best record hosts the finals.
By the way, this format is much more comfortable, considering the similarity to 606.

I am not a fan of this format, i agree with U1754, 'Play one and be done'. Couldnt have put it better myself.

The format is flawed as is most of the championship format. Worcester V's Leeds might have been a more meaningful match here given that the Pirates can't go up and the fact that Worcester won the championship in the regular season. I am a great fan of play offs but for the championship where only one team can go up as a consequence of their facilities the format is farcical.
