I've started working on an internet radio system, maybe something to let the fans commentate on games? It's only at the drawing board stage right now though.

Problem with that is that Fans usually know very little about football and scream bollox down the microphone which is funny for about 4 minutes. After 5 minutes of watching Sky games with Fanzone commentary you switch back to Martin Tyler and Gaz Nev.

No doubt even Alan Green will sound better than fans 'commentating' on the radio.

That's true, but most games are played on a weekend or at night.

I wouldn't advise the fan commentary idea. As some have already said, their knowledge would be so limited and it would end up being a shouting match between biased fans.

I suppose you're right, without the right people, the commentating application would simply be full of WUMs.

There must be something I can start working on.

I've recently created a "mini ja606 app".

It's still in beta but it works. All I do is stick the article ID into a form (this one is 106778), and it plays a sound whenever someone adds a comment.

Not sure the admins would approve though.

That's decent mate. I'm not very creative so don't know what else to recommend.
