Great season ahead(?)

Last season Red Bull dominated the whole F1 scene.
Only once did they fail to get pole in qualifying and we don't need go over just how much Vettel dominated in the races.

But this season things seem a lot more open. Alonso won in Malaysia with a glorified go-kart with Perez's Sauber not far behind.
Then there was Mercedes dominance in China this weekend.
Williams already have more than three times as many championship points then they did in the whole of last season.

Is this the shape of things to come? A more open racing championship? Or is it inevitable that Red Bull and 'the finger' will emerge to dominate once more?

I must admit I wasn't expecting to but I have enjoyed Sky's coverage. The technology they use is very impressive, although they have a tendency to overuse it slightly IMO.

There aren't all that many ad breaks which was my main worry. No breaks for over 3 hours to get the build up, race and immediate reaction in, which was great.

The banter between the co-presenters is nowhere near as enjoyable as the BBC's though (mainly because there is zero banter between the Sky guys). Although this may come with time.

The season itself has been fascinating so far, brilliant not to see 'the finger' dominating again.

On Sunday I watched the pre-race build up and post race reaction on BBC, and the race on Sky. Brundle is just too good to miss during the race.

I watched the BBC replay of the race. Brundle & Croft>>> Coulthard & Allen imo

I only watch tke SKY coverage and its excellent. Brundle and Croft are great and are developing very well.

If the BBC cared so much about F1, they would show every race.

I'm grateful they've also lost the exclusive rights to motogp as well as Eurosport show the races live as well as Toby and Jules are fantastic

so you're view is then that coulthard and his co-commentator can't be any good because the bbc havent got all the races live ?

Did I say that

There are separate issues;

1) SKY is doing a great job and Brundle and Croft are better than Coulthard and Allen

2) BBC scrwd up the rights to F1 and I'm sick and tired of people moaning about it. If they loved it so much they would have paid for it

Quite simple really. How you've arrived at the conclusion you have is unbelievable

Completely agree. The whinging is made even more ridiculous by the fact you can just go on the internet and find a live feed for the races no problem.

it was the basis of your argument for brundle being better than coulthard yes.

No it wasn't, I was commenting on 2 separate issues as I explained above.

I'll repeat myself as it appears you are confused

1) Comment about Brundle and Croft v coulthard and Allan was comparing commentary

2) Comment about coverage was a reference to people still moaning about sky getting the coverage and I even gave a motogp example.

Never in any post above did I say the commentary was better because sky got all the races and bbc didn't. I'm still amazed how you came to that conclusion.
